Just wondering if anyone knows what software has been used to create the website linked below or what software would do the job to create a similar site.

    Hey Peter,

    Looks like a custom directory script to me. I also checked the source code and nothing jumps out to say what script they are using. Maybey try to contact them?

      I also looked and didn't see anything definitive. But even if they had someone else create it, they may not want to share it with potential competition.

    Looks like a custom CMS was developed.

    Yes, something like this could be done with Wordpress, Joomla, or Drupal... If it were me developing it, I would decide between Joomla and Drupal, not wordpress... but it would have a lot of customization and custom scripts and components to pull this off.

    It looks like a Maxiscript site to me. I only say that because I've seen a few sites made with the program and there are similarities. I know you can do a lot of different things with is as it's specifically made for creating web 2.0 type sites and CSS style galleries. I haven't personally used the program but I have a buddy who uses it for client sites and he says its easy to learn and use. Got no idea of the cost, but I'm sure you could easily Google it.
