Flippa 6 Figure Goal

Thanks for the advice. It's amazing how those professionals make the 6 figure website flips. I will do an advanced search on sites fetching 6 figures.

Hopefully, some of the Flippa Gurus will create a video course that covers A-Z about creating powerful websites, doing the seo/back linking to get traffic / revenue and then teaching the best flipping techniques.

Selling a site for 6 figures is obviously much harder and a bit risky too.
But if you sell niche sites that are earning you a decent monthly income,
you could easily sell them for 4 figures, if not 5 figures.

Ok, quickly, here are the steps to follow to build quality niche sites:
1. Keyword Research
2. Analyse the competition, to avoid getting into a niche that is too competitive
3. Build the site, most probably on Wordpress
4. Add content related to the chosen keywords
5. Build links to the site, blog comments, article syndication, etc

Once you start earning some dollars, flip it

Forget the 5,6 + 7 figure sites, yes it is nice to sell one a year (or even 4 ker ching!) but the REAL value in Flipping sites is low cookie cutter priced sites that resell, hour after hour on auto pilot!

Rinse and repeat, multiply it the work by taking 75% of your flipped site sale profit and do it again and again, until you get 5,6 + 7 figures passively

Seriously though, we have banked big and still bank from Flippa and it is no secret, it is down to the niche you hit and what the buyer/s/investor/s want from the spend on ROI!

Flippa is a very specialised beast, but when you tame it, it is very passive

I think instead of selling or Flipping a single website, you should sell a bunch of websites bcs in this way you can make a Bonus Money.

Suppose you 've 5-niche based mini websites each making $50 to $100 per month.
Then u 've a Business that earns around $450 to $500 per month.

Now step down in Flippa.com and list your Business or bunch of websites for sale.
At Flippa u can flip ur website 10 times more price that it makes in a specified time period. So here our Business makes $450 to $500 per month so we can flip in
$500 x 10 times = $5000 or u can bid it more as per ur choice.

Hi Ross. Your observations regarding current 'Flipsters' are acute and in the right direction. While you are excited at their success, it's good to see that you are observing all of this as a study as well.

It's one thing to own a website as a hobby and later flip it on a marketplace for a one-off, 4, 5, or even 6 figure amount, but it's another to create a business model that produces results like that on a "consistent" basis. Obviously that requires good planning and expertise.

Having been lucky to sell websites in the 4, 5, and 6-figure range, the most important factor I learned (besides the need for expertise in this area) is to have a plan and the patience to execute that plan.

We all get excited when someone sells a website for let's say $10,000. What most of us fail to appreciate is the planning, prepration, and execution required for such a result. In most cases the site that is selling for $5,000 or $10,000 today had its 'seeds of preparation sown' (at a minimum) anywhere from 3 months to a year ago.

If you wish to sell high-end websites as a business, you obviously have to have some specialized expertise in website creation and nurturing, then you have to 'clearly' decide as to the types of websites you are going to sell, create a plan today and if you execute it well, you can expect to reap rewards a few months down the road.

All of the above is even more important if you wish to sell a product ethically that has value for the buyer. Lots of people use a lot of under-hand tactics on marketplaces like Flippa, and I'd obviously strongly advise against that. Flipping websites is good business but it can certainly test one's patience. Best of luck with your plans.
