Google Isn't That Smart

There is only so much an algorithm can do. They will never be able to control their SERPs the way they want to. I think eventually, they will give up, and every listing will be paid.

I am actually for that. At least it is consistent.

    I guess Joe Robinson is trying to say humans are behind it so it works.
    Well, that is true.

    There Algo is just like every software, machine and tools that is just SET and GO. They can only perform what has been programmed but don't forget what Joe Robinson illustrated (don't actually know what he meant), the humans can come around anytime, make update and that 30day old trick is back in the garbage.

    Google doesn't solely rely on software bots. They have a ton of cubicles with real live people that follow up on red flags that the bots signal.

    This is why there have been so many people in here over the years proclaiming that they do such and such and that "Google hasn't done anything to my sites so it's a myth". But those folks usually show back up sooner or later complaining that something happened to their site and they don't know what happened.

    Well, what "happened" is that the real live folks finally got around to their sites that had a bunch of red flags.

    Google comes out with a change and at first only the really big offenders get hit and the little guys get looked at later. Meanwhile the little guys use the lack of immediate action against them as "proof" that the changes don't affect the things that everyone says they do.

    Only Google knows what they can and will do about your site.
