Email List Marketing Tips and Tricks

Hey guys,

These forums are awesome, and thanks to all who have answered some of my other questions. I did a search on this and came up empty so hopefully this is a fairly new question for the group.

I have a list, and was wondering what the best way was to make money with it.

Is there a way I can let people know about my list?

I'm assuming the only other way to make money with my list is through affiliate offers.

Is there a guru out there who sells an info product on this topic? I've read that you should treat your list like an elite group of people, and hand them deals and advanced offers. As far as I'm aware, using clickbank, you don't get access to deals or discounts.

Does anyone have any other tips and tricks to getting the most of your list?

Thanks in advance!

Your question makes me a little curious, KG: how exactly did you build/acquire the list?

No, discounts aren't allowed. But you can offer people "bonuses" for buying a product through your link, and that can work very well.

It's all about continuity and trust. A few of my comments are here (I don't think they're even facetious ones, as I remember): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6123982

I was going to add knowing your market and your list.

It's that classic, no one cares about your lawnmower they only care about their lawns.

I'm still looking to improve as a writer and only recently realised that it doesn't matter how many tricks you have up your sleeves for writing sexy subject lines... it's all about writing (or emailing) stuff your list are actually interested and concerned with. First and foremost.

Then it's about learning how to write better, position and pre-sell products better. But first (IMHO) you have to know about them and what they want to achieve.
