Adding a Facebook Like Button to WP Blog

I am having a heck of a time adding a plug-in for a Facebook Like Button on my WP blog. I had no problem adding it to the html code on my website, but WP is different. Anybody have any suggestions?

    At the risk of stating the obvious, did you head to Facebook Developers .. use their generator there. You then have a script for your page and one for wherever you want the Like to appear

      Yes, that is what I did to place it on my website, and that was very easy. This is going to sound stupid, but I can't find anywhere to add the code on WP, all I found was where to edit the theme css code.

        There is a wordpress plugin called Cardoza Facebook Like Button that you can download and then move over as a widget to a sidebar or whatever.

        There's also an easy social settings plugin that has them all, facebook, pinterest, twitter, g+. Same way, just download the plugin and then mess with the settings. You can have it in your sidebar, below every post, at the bottom of each page.

    there is another great wp plugin named "share this"
    u can add it and have facebook,twetter,google + buttons ready to go.

    Hello Marty have you checked the Widget area of your WP Site? There maybe a drap and drop text box where you can place the HTML Facebook code into. Then it should show in the area you place the text box. Hope this helps!
