Best Payment Gateway for an ebook product?
 

Hey guys!

I just wanted to borrow from the expertise of my fellow Warriors so any help and guidance in this area would be very much appreciated :)

So I've got an ebook product that i'm bringing back to market after a year or so.

Now I used to collect payment via paypal but i no longer have a paypal account because they suspended my account! (I'm sure you know somebody who this has also happened to!.. So annoying)

While i did enjoy Paypal's ease, functionality and general online universal(ness) but i have no choice but to now use an alternative.

Does anybody have any suggestions about which payment gateway i could use to:

1. Collect payment speedily
2. Efficiently deliver the product
3. Have an uncomplicated and seamless refund procedure.

Any light you guys can shed in this area would be fantastic.

Clickbank is the best all in one. You also get listed with their affiliate program.

Yes Clickbank is 1st. You can also try plimus, they support multiple payment processors.

Clickbank, Plimus, those are the big two. If you are serious about selling thousands or hundreds of copies, you should go with one of them. They also have plug and play affiliate programs for you to setup.

Clickbank, E-junkie, paydotcom.com and 1shoppingcart.com are the best options.
There are plenty more too.

Just go for Clickbank. It's the best in the industry :)

Another wonderful thing about Clickbank: it's not just help you process the sales, but also brings you affiliates. Affiliates will bring for you traffic and sales, and you get passive income.

I guess it's decided. Clickbank it is (Although i'll take a quick peek at Plimus).

It's true. The fact that affiliates are already on board make pretty much make it a no brainer!

I think ClickBank is the best option for your product!

You can try either ClickBank or 2checkout, while with Plimus you still need a PayPal account before you can receive any payment for your eBook, but ClickBank you have the chance of your product being promoted by affiliates which inreturn more sales. 2checkout on the other hand process all payment either via PayPal or Credit Cards for you and you can either cash them via their Payoneer card or in Check. I have no Paypal account whatsoever so that's no longer an option. Pretty sure it's gonna be Clickbank now.

Hey raggupta2.

Well they banned me over some prior activity on the account.

I was selling a few ebay items, tech stuff like iPhones so i guess they considered me high risk.

Anyway, one day they just decided to restrict my account. When i call to ask what the problem is they won't discuss it. They say it could be due to a number of things and are also very vague about what it could actually be!

O well. It's a shame. Paypal is good

If you have a shop site, you can use 2checkout, but it's recommended to use Paypal.
If you want to sell some ebooks, I think you should sell it on clickbank, and let clickbank gateway do this work.

Yup I agree with everyone else, Clickbank will certainly do what you need.

I think Clickbank would be the best for you - if you want to avoid using Paypal again then they are a great choice. It may take a week or so to get your product approved but it's usually pretty standard stuff and their staff are very helpful ;)

I use clickbank also. They are best hands down.
