Question about Mozilla Thunderbird

Hello Guys,

If you are using thunderbird for your emails, will it be possible to automatically forward all your emails from thunderbird to gmail, yahoomail?

I am using thunderbird for my emails and can't get around with my laptop every where and need checking my emails there on regular basis, so was thinking if it will be possible to get my thunderbird emails on yahoomail, gmail...

Anyone having any idea on it please? Thanks

    i use a portable version of thunderbird that i run from dropbox. That helps, but its not exactly what you are asking.

    in short, thunderbird is designed to help you manage multiple email accounts easily. its not really an email system on its own really.

    that said, there are a number of ways to do what you are asking.

    first, the easiest way to do what you are asking is to setup a gmail account and use the settings in gmail to retrieve the message from your various pop3 email accounts (yourname@yourdomain.com). Then of course you just check your gmail account from your phone. It will show all the message from all the accounts you have your single gmail account checking.

    you can also link your gmail account with thunderbird to help you sync and use email filters to sort your incoming mail.
