Do I need to create Aweber web form for WarriorPlus listing?

Hello Warriors,

I have a question about aweber and warriorplus's wso pro integration.

Im about to list my new WSO into the warriorplus and integrate it with Aweber. My question is, is it necessary to create a web form and enter the web form id into the autoresponder section of the warrior plus listing.

Or, would it be fine if I just create a new Aweber list without web form and enter this list name into warriorplus? I just confused how warrior plus will collect the list, will it be only the email address or together with the name. This is important as I need to know what type of personalization that I should enter into my first follow up email. Let say, my first email started like this; "Hi {name_fix}", will it pop up with the recipient name?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Reez,

You can use the integration in the listing editor for your mailing list. It collects names and emails. It takes only moments to set up and instructions are right in the editor. If you need any help, please feel free to open a ticket at WarriorPlus Support

Thanks! I don't expect the answer will come directly from warriorplus. Highly appreciate it!!! Thanks!! But actually I just need to know whether I need to create the web form for my list or not as I noticed in the autoresponder settings in the warrior plus listing editor there a section says Your aweber webform id, if applicable. Do really need to create this web form or just create a list without a web form and enter the list name into warriorplus listing editor?

This can be done, by entering your aweber 'list' name, in a box for your WSO Pro listing.

Its quick and easy to integrate them.

Thanks Matt! To recap, so it will be fine to create a list without web form. Am I right? But what about personalization in the follow up emails. For example, will it works if I enter Hi {name_fix}, ....

          Here are the steps
          1) You create your aweber list, list name, eg "Reezlist"

          2) You simily 'copy and paste' the name of this list "Reezlist" into a space on your wso listing (a 5 second job)

          3) Anybody who purchases your WSO, 'automatically' gets added to list Reezlist.

So if 50 people puchase your WSO, you will have 50 buyers added to your list Reezelist.

Personlisation with the followup emails? you don't do this on WSO pro, you just do this in aweber, like you normally would do.

so create 10+ followup emails on aweber, (you don't/can't do this in WSO pro)

Wsopro is just to allocate which list, that the buyers will be joining (they automatically get added to that list).

          Good luck

Thanks Matt! Crystal clear now. But my question about the personalisation..What I meant is let say for example I have David opted in to my list as you mentioned in the example above Reezlist. When I create a follow up email in Aweber with this type of personalisation, Hi {name_fix}, will it come out in the email says Hi David. This comes back to my original post asking what details that warriorplus will collect in the opt in process when integrated with Aweber. Will it be just the email or name and email.

        Hey Reez,

To answer your question precisely you need not create a web form to make this work. In the interface you might see that against the web form option it would have written something in lines of "if applicable". So essentially that means if you want to you can enter the web form id, but that is definitely not a must have.

You will be just fine by creating a new list in Aweber and entering that name into your listing.

        Hope that answers your question.

        Cheers
