Pre-built webpage/site templates?

I am looking for a website (or rather webpage) template from which I can build an information website from.

The template doesn't need to be too fancy.. It just needs to be free from smiley cheese header pictures and it'd need to be colour schemed so it could be applied to anything. I built a website myself but it looks awful.

    Sometimes the place that you host your website has website templates. At least godaddy and hostgator do. I personally use hostgator, and it has a lot of different types of templates.

    From Wordpress to html sites, there's thousands of templates available. Google html templates for html and Wordpress templates for Wordpress.
