If your willing to pay for advertising, what are the best way to get subscribers?

Pretty much most of my subscribers have come from solo ads. It works well. It just costs money. Is there any other ways of advertising that I might get a better bang for my buck out there? Maybe banner ads or facebook ads, I don't know......

How much are the potential subscribers worth to you?

solo ads are one of the best ways to build your list because not only do you get targeted traffic but you dont have to jump through tonnes of hoops like you do for PPC

if your trying to get away from solo then it sounds like there not working out for you and your not finding them profitable

it really comes down to your sales funnel

make sure you use a OTO with your solo ads so you can recoup some of your investment back right off the bat

even if your breaking even it`s still worth using because your still adding buyers to your buyers list

you should also be building free traffic at the same time though. Creating a personal blog and building traffic to it over time will also help to build your list, this is a long term solid traffic method too

As Paul said solo ads is probably the best solution, eventhough paid ones can give you much more subscribers, you could use free ones if you don't have the budget, it might take longer to get subscribers but they work...

I have been paying for solo ads and they have done well. I was just wandering if you guys were using any other methods that would give me a better bang for my buck. You guys are defiantly right. So far solo ads have been the best thing.

I know solo ads cost money but they are worth it IMO. You could try banner advertising. Have you tried any free methods? You can get at least 10 leads a day through forum marketing, social marketing and writing consistently on your blog to attract search engine traffic. There are plenty of ways to get leads into your funnel, it's just about laying out a daily plan and implementing it vigorously. It may not seem like much, but added to your solo ads and they begin to add up over time.

Solo ads are truly a great traffic source, and one that doesn't require much effort on your side.

Other options are, of course, PPC and PPV. Problem with PPC is, as Paul said, you need to
jump through hoops and set your lead capture page in a certain way in order to get approved.
Another danger is that if you are not experienced you can lose a lot of money and get nothing.
I heard great things about building a list with PPV from few marketers, I tested it a little with
mixed results, definitely can be effective, but again, need to know what you are doing and test a lot.

Blog is definitely an excellent free way for getting subscribers, though it takes more effort and time.

Why not try the free methods? You can get long-term gain from them. If you don't want to do the work yourself, you can outsource it.

If not, I heard Facebook PPC work pretty well for getting email addresses (subscribers). You can try that out.

Depending on how good you are at selling and how much u want to spend, you can try some direct media buys with blogs/forums/sites in your niche.

Also don't limit yourself on PPC to just google and facebook, try other networks too, there are plenty out there.

Rather than paying for ezine solo ads, you might try querying publishers to see if they'll accept articles. Relevant articles in niche ezines can often drive massive traffic - for free.
