Anyone got issues with Snatcher Deal of the Day plugin?

Towards the end of last year (2011) I bought the Amazon snatcher deal of the day plugin. It looked great and I thought the price comparison functionality would increase conversions.
However, if anything, the opposite has occurred. I've had the plugin installed on pages that have got lots and lots of highly-targeted traffic (coming via "buyer keywords").
I can see that the links (embedded in the snatcher price table) are being clicked (hundreds of times) but there are no conversions. As I say, the traffic is targeted, the products are popular and in stock, and these are "buyer" keywords. Yet despite all the click-throughs, there are no conversions.
So I'm wondering whether there may be something wrong with the plugin (e.g. whether it's screwing up the tracking of my affiliate link or something).

It seems strange to me that the aff links should get hundreds of clicks (from highly-targeted visitors) and no conversions. I hope the plugin isn't messing things up!
Support for this product is non-existent. For about one month after the product release it was possible to contact their "help desk" but that appears to be have disappeared (a long time ago).
Hopefully I can get some answers here!
