Adding Amazon Affiliate links

This seems like a no brainer, but with my theme it is not clear. Where do I enter the html? Should I contact the theme support? or is it an obvious answer?

I also just asked at my theme support, but sometimes it takes a long time to hear back.

No, I just have the html code and I am trying to figure out where to post it in my site. I got HTML code for a book I want to promote, and there are others. I want to have it in the sidebar with the image, and also I want the URL so that I can create hyperlinks within my posts. I didn't see that option. I am (obviously) new to this. Tell me how I can be more specific.

If you are using Word Press for your website, then go to Appearance>>Widgets.

From here, in the middle of the screen is a box called "Text/HTML". Drag that into one of the sidbars to the right side.

Once the "Text/HTML" box is in the sidebar, click on it and it will drop down a white box. Put your Amazon Affiliate links in there.

Great job! You just placed your Amazon link in your sidebar!
