With an autoresponder can you send out a mass email (to say 1000 people) that appears as though it was sent to only one person?

What I mean is can you make it look like it was a personal email?

    Every person gets a (personal) email anyway. It's not something you can even choose.

    There are options to make it more personal: for example you can use the person's name in an email. Just sign up to any internet marketing newsletter and you'll see what I mean.

    Yes you can make it personal. For example, if you use the Getresponse autoresponder, you would type in...

    Hi [[firstname]]

    and the person's name would appear where you have typed [[firstname]].

    That's because they will have entered their first name when signing up to your list via the name capture provided by Getresponse.

      As others have said, every autoresponder has this facility.

      The difficult bit is making your email sound like it's personal. When you're writing it, pretend you're writing to your best friend.

    Every autoresponder has a feature called "PERSONALIZATION". This can be done by "TAGS" provided in your autoresponder admin panel.

    Example: If you keep a tag like '{firstname}' it will be replaced by your subscriber first name.

    If you keep a tag like '{color}', it will be replaced by your subscribers favorite color if he has that in his subscriber profile.

    This way you can make your email looks like you are writing ti *HIM/HER* only.
