What's your definition of an "Excellent" article writing service??

Howdy,

Would just like to ask this question for a survey...

Regardless of what you are (Internet Marketer, Web Developer, Entrepreneur, etc.)... What are the things that you are looking for in an article writing service?

Do you have any other requirements or specifics other than quality, TAT and price?

Regards,
- Matt

It's very simple: an "excellent" writing service is one that consistently produces content which makes publishers/webmasters want to share it voluntarily with their own readers/subscribers/visitors, so that good quality, relevant publications/websites either re-publish it by arrangement, or just link to it simply because they like it and want others to read it.

(On the internet, that definition also happens to match an "income-producing" definition).

Everything else (and there's plenty) is secondary to that - because if you don't have that, the product isn't really worth buying anyway.

For articles, yes - in general, the ones explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3188316

    Hey Epic Write, what's TAT?

Since it looks like this thread is taking a turn away from answering your question, I'll contribute what I like to see in an article writing service:
    • a money back guarantee
    • a secured payment process
    • timely delivery
    • a 3rd party escrow service (to eliminate conflict of interest)
    • at least 1 rewrite opportunity per article
    • deliverables that match samples
    • a contract with the standard provisions
    • professional behavior and web presence
    • an impressive and verifiable client list
    • the ability to directly answer my questions
    • no attempts to persuade me into doing something I had no intentions on doing
    • full knowledge of the writing industry and its current state

Hopefully that reveals something outside of whatever TAT stands for.

With that kind of accountability, you'd pretty quickly eliminate the cowboys that really have no place calling themselves "writers".

And real writers would have a much easier time of charging and receiving what they're worth.

      (And yeah, what's TAT?!)
Those expectations are what I've worked from over the last 7 years, so I'd feel much more comfortable working with others who've had to endure the same [and ultimately, survived it]. :-)

It should make visitors want to come back to the site.

That should be the most important element.

Once you get a visitor they're hooked for life.

From a writer's point of view, a great article is one that makes the reader say: "Gimme more, gimme more!", and this thirst can only be quenched by clicking the link found in the resource box.

And that's what you should be looking in a writing service, even if you don't offer the articles to syndication, you can customize your call to action to suit your needs (to sign up for your newsletter, buy, donate, etc.).

    So your question is this:

What's your definition of an "Excellent" article writing service??

My simple answer to that is someone who has a few years of experience in writing. Someone who has never copied others work. Someone who is willing to write their own content and do it really well.

    I found that person.....

It's me and I write my own articles for myself and never allow anyone to do it for me because I just don't trust those companies and persons. I know for a fact that many of them copy content that is already found online.

    TAT = Turn around time

I think most of the requirements have already been mentioned by previous posters.

I would like to mention a couple of things. If you want the articles to be used on your own blog then you want to use the same writer consistently if you want the posts to have some personality.

The second suggestion is this, you can't place certain demands on your writers such as the following:

    Only write 500 word articles
    Stuff them with odd keywords
Place the keywords in bizarre places throughout the article

And then be upset because they don't achieve the results that Alexa talks about above.

Sometimes it pays to listen to what your writer suggests. Finding the best clients is often as hard as finding the perfect writer.

These are all excellent points. I would also say that the writer needs to understand that the client generally has one objective: to make more money. As a writer, you need to understand how to create content that moves products and grows lists.

This means that you (as a writer) need to learn the basics behind the psychology of marketing. Learn how to touch on the pain and pleasure points of the client's target audience.

For me it should be a service that can step into my shoes, understand the needs of my audience and then create magic with the words that alleviates the problems my audience faces. In short it should address the issues and concerns of my readers.

      Thanks

Other than quality and price I like for my articles to be written with proper grammer and spelling without any mistakes.
