If you are linkbuilding and promoting your website yourself without outsourcing, how long on average to achieve a PR4?

I am not a SEO expert but I think it depends on the quality of backlinks. . |

I'm not sure about the average, but I've had a site go PR4 within a few weeks. However this site was picked up by the likes of delicious and digg and now has about 2000 backlinks.

Billy boy is right. But it will take you much longer if you do everything yourself. On the other hand, If you have a good linking strategy and a knowledgeable "link team" to do the heavy lifting - you can do it in a matter of weeks as suggested by dogisland. Either way, quality links are the key. |
