Syndication without resource box

Hello everyone,

So, I just found out that someone syndicated my article on their site.

And, they didn't provide a resource box (or even link back to my site). I wanted to email them, but they did not have an email available on their site. They do not even have a way to leave a comment asking to put a resource box up.

What should I do? I cannot think of a way to contact the webmaster.

Thanks!

You can try "admin", "info" and "support" at theirsite.com. (This normally reaches people).

You can find out (from who-hosts.com) who their host is and serve a DMCA notice on them.

You can even remove the Warrior Forum backlink you've just given them, in the post above, if you don't want to help them out too much.

    Good luck!

Who-hosts.com says the website is hosted by "7tr.org", but there is no hosting company at that address? There is no hosting company called "7tr" for that matter!

Did a little research on them, have 1 PR and a not very good Alexa rating (so I don't really mind THAT much if they use one article of mine...) and it looks like they might be centered in Turkey because they have a Turkish traffic rating on Alexa.com (so I don't know if that makes a difference).

Not sure ... this could even be one of those cases where a DMCA notice may not necessarily work. If the possibly-Turkish host just ignores it, there perhaps isn't much you can do, realistically. (You could, if you want to, turn it into a bigger issue and start complaining to their domain-name registrar, report them to Google, and if they're on an international TLD, even to the FTC, who do have some jurisdiction over those, whatever country the offenders are in themselves and/or wherever they're hosted). Try it if you feel like it, but I wouldn't worry too much. In the long run, they're not going to do you any harm.

I'd go straight to the DMCA personally, since it looks like the site is just scraping content.

Unless there is some connection between Juicing, Playing the Organ, Email Marketing and Camping.

Wait, maybe they do fit! This blogger is a genius!
