QUESTION ON AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS

No, you would not. What you can do is install the Amazon Link Localizer plugin if you are using WordPress. What this plugin is supposed to do is detect where the visitor is coming from and direct the to his local Amazon using an affiliate link for that local Amazon.

Of course, you'd have to sign up for each of the country-specific Amazon affiliate programs. I've heard mixed reviews about the plugin.

If they buy from US Amazon then you will get a comission. If they buy from Japanese Amazon then you don't get a commission unless you are signed up to their specific Amazon affiliate program.

Even if you are signed up to multiple affiliate programs you still need to use a plugin that directs visitors to the correct Amazon site.

Good point Ben. I just assumed he meant the visitor came from another country and bought from that Amazon. Maybe I misunderstood.

What if I use Squidoo as my landing page, Is there a way to use a plugin like that or I will just have to accept the reality of losing some of the customers with Squidoo?

The plug ins mentioned are all for Wordpress sites. Squidoo is a different animal all together. I have seen a numbeer of sites have several country specific flags next to the buy button, ask them to click on the right one :confused: that would reduce the "no Buy" clicks.

NO you won't if they buy from diff amazon site but there are options for this, you can use plug-in that redirect to their specific time zone/location...

Good point Ejoka. eBay Partner Program actually allows you to Geo target your traffic. So if your promoting a UK site, it will direct our friends from the USA or any other specified countries to the eBay site for that country. This way you don't lose a sale.

Amazon, please have this included in your dash board. We would all be indebted!

Btw wolfmmiii, do you offer a video course on Amazon including the Google updates in your training. I've noticed that you have become a Guru in Amazon. Can't you create some sites and sell them at half price for us warriors. We would also be indebted to you.

Unfortunately, I do not offer a video course at the moment. To be honest, I really don't even offer any "courses", per se. My personal Amazon blueprint really is just that - it's a 14 or 15 page document that details how I do things and why I am successful with the strategies I employ.

I am working on something big though when it comes to site creation. It's already been offered to my existing customers. Once I get some feedback from them, the rest of the forum will see it.
