AHH FRUSTRATED! Need help!!!

Hey Guys,

I'm a new member here to the Warrior Forum and I'm in the process of setting up a online membership site for my business but I've run into a bit of a rut and I need your help...

I recently bought the domain names, hosting, and installed wordpress on my domain name. However, for whatever reason whenever I try to go to my wordpress admin for my domain name all I get is an error message saying "Domain Not Found" or some variation of that...

I have no idea what would be causing this and I can't for the life of me figure this damn thing out. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this problem so I can log into my back office on my wordpress?

    Hey Michael!

    Did you route the Name Servers from the company your purchased your domain from to your new hosting service? For example, if you bought the name at NameCheap and hosted it on HostGator, did you tell NC to host the domain at xxxx.hostgator.com and xxx2.hostgator.com (where xxxx is your server #)?

    After doing that, if this is not your first domain, did you go into your hosting cPanel and setup an addon domain?

    Did you give this 24-48 hours to cycle through? (It should happen in 10 minutes, but it can take up to 2 days.)

      Hey J,

      Yes I did both of those things and I'm still getting error messages and have no idea why...I triple checked everything but nothing seems to be working...

        OK give us a little more info:
        • Is this your first domain?
        • Is this your first hosting package?
        • Who did you use to buy the domain?
        • Who is your hosting company?

    Hi, usually before the domain is registered properly spend at least 48 hours, is probably a problem with this fact.

    But within 48 hours if you still have not solved your problem, make sure you have registered the domain correctly and you have not made any mistakes.

    A call to your hosting company should be able to sort that out right quick like.

    Hi J,

    -No this is my 4th domain
    -Yes Host Gator is the only hosting package that I use
    -I used GoDaddy to buy the domain name (theabundancesociety.com)
    -I used Hostgator

    Hopefully that gives you a little more to work with...

    Holy **** never mind guys...I just got off the phone with GoDaddy and it turns out when I bought the domain names I spelt the first ones I bought incorrectly!! Hahaha oh man...so embarrassing...Thanks anyways guys I appreciate the help!
