Are you getting a high spam count in your autoresponder messages?

If you have written a very good quality content autoresponder message and are still getting a high spam rate but are not sure why here's something you need to know. I actually had to find this out through my Autoresponder company. I switched from Aweber to Imnica mail and I was getting crazy spam rates on messages that in aweber were only 0.1 % in the spam tester and had to find out why.

If you get this in your autoresponder service this could be the reason. In order to track the number of clicks you get they put a little image in your message that is hidden to you but tracks the number of opens and clicks that you get.

That's why even after removing words like "FREE" etc you still get a high spam rate. Also, if you have some pictures in your message make your content longer so that you content to picture ratio equals more content to less images. This will help get your emails delivered as well.

Other tips include making sure that you have your address at the bottom of your email and unsubscription link etc. Some Autoresponder companies automatically include this but others don't.

that's all for now.

p.s. If you have other tips to help improve message deliverability do share

Even with high spam ratings, if you get the subscriber to add your "from" email address to their address book, and always send from the same from address, then you get even higher inbox rates, even with SOME spam words in there.

Not a magic bullet for ALL delivery, but, does help a LOT.

Hi Richelo, you are right getting the person to whitelist your email address helps increase the likelihood of them getting your email

    Yeah, that's correct.

There is usually a 1 pixel by 1 pixel image that is attached
to emails that track email opens. So once the email opens
and it loads from the site, its considered a hit and considered
    an open rate.

Click rates aren't recorded from there, which you incorrectly
stated. Click rates are from the links you have created.

If you take notice in the emails you send out, the links are
encoded. Usually... really, really long links in the status
bar of your browser. Clicking those links will register on the
autoresponder's site and become noted as a click.

And as the owner of Imnica Mail, Richelo Killian, stated, getting
the subscriber to add you into their address book helps a lot.
    That's a process called whitelisting.

You ask the subscriber to add you into their email address
    books.

Unfortunately, a lot of emails which I've added into my
email address book still drops over into the spam filters.

    It's not a guaranteed way.

But to increase email deliverability rate, I've known of
many marketers who recommend people to unsubscribe
from everyone else's emails (except their own).

If they were providing good content, they'd probably be
justified to do so since many others are merely
promotional emails. Quite unfortunate that I see lots of
these are, themselves, promotional in nature.
