I came across FLV producer recently for putting flash video on a website.
Unfortunately it is for Windows only.
Does anyone know a good program for Mac?

Visual Hub is the best app for the job. I own a video encoding company. If you have just one file PM me and I will encode for you

Sorry do you need to convert a quicktime to FLV or just embed it on your site?

I don't have anything to promote here - why don't you just friend me on Facebook instead?

      Thanks guys.

I have PLR videos from Ewen Chia and was watching the 'How to Rebrand' video.

The final part deals with uploading to a website and although I'm not ready to do so at the moment I intend to be soon.

There are several to rebrand but I am open to any other suggestions.

      Thanks again.

You are not going to find a cheaper solution that will produce better quality and higher compression for flv format than the suggestion I posted above for flix standard for mac. For $39 it comes with the best codec in the industry.

        Also JW player is free.

You might want to try those solutions because I guarantee you will not find anything better quality and the price points will only go up from there.

    Hi David,

There aren't any combined player/encoder solutions specifically for mac that I would recommend...

Even visual hub falls far short of the most important features for flv publishing... it lacks the vp6 codec! Also note that company who use do publish it pulled the plug. It produced really poor quality flv anyway so that is not much of a loss ;-)

What I suggest is that you get the mac version of flix 8 standard (to encode using vp6 which is the best flv codec on the market) which is just $39. This will give you the best encoding/compression for flv codec in the industry.

Then just use a player that is stand alone and not associated with a platform dependent app.

I sell one we developed with some advanced features called Transparent Player and there is also the JW Player.
