New Facebook Plugin Resulting In Threats

Im curious to know if anyone else receives some odd threats from users who seem to think we have hacked into there facebook accounts due to using Facebook enabled optin forms ?

This mail is sent via contact form on #########


Believe it or not this is not the first email ive received to the contact forms on my sites claiming similar things....

Has anyone else had similar encounters with characters like these ?

    Jeesh that's a pain. What must have happened is a friend or someone hacked their account, or they installed an unsafe app that hacked their account and they must have thought it was you. Strange to get multiple messages/emails like that, however.

      hmmm - I didnt consider that as a option - but multiple threats within a short span of time for similar claims has me thinking....

      To those non tech savy people out there, it must be quiet daunting going to a site they have never visited to then find we have their face pic hovering over a form

        If I visited a site and saw something like that - even knowing the types of plugins and such available - I would definitely freak. Momentarily, anyway. I'd realize at some point it has to be some type of plugin or whatever, but yeah...

        So I can definitely see that kind of reaction in people who have no idea those kinds of things exist.
