what could be causing this audio problem

turn your volume down as this sound can be annoying

I'm hearing high pitch spikes in the audio about 10 seconds into the link below and they weren't there earlier. I've tried reuploading the video to my server but that doesn't change it.

If I play the video directly from it's url there is no problem . When I try to use other FLV players and get the same problem. this is an mpeg 4 file but the players I'm using support mpeg 4 so I'm not sure what 's goin on. This is now happening to all the vids on my WP site and they were fine ealier today.


what do you think could be causing this?

    Must be your encoding. Using MP4 over a flash player can be tricky. Chances are when you go direct to the file you are decoding with quicktime which handles MP4 better. What audio codec did you use for the MP4? Maybe you need to increase the HZ on the audio.

    Not sure what the codec was I used sorenson 5 and the mpeg 4 youtube preset.

    I'll try rendering differently and see what happens using your instructions.

    But I wonder why it worked fine earlier today with the same players and now it doesn't?
