Hi everyone, I was told this is a great place for discussions on earning money online, which I can see from already doing some reading, and which I will continue to do, being the beginner that I am. Obviously, I am no computer expert, but with help from a friend who is, I have managed to obtain a .com website, very cheaply, created on a particular niche market (dog training, for now) and aim to search for keywords using Google Keyword Tool and a few others like Kwbrowse for some more ideas, so that I can write articles under those topic phrases in pursuit of having my resource link advertised in order to create traffic to my landing page.

I am going to try to find more keywords (having already written articles about some few), but I find that Google's Keyword Tool is limited in the sense that it doesn't give me many options for different phrasing, so I would be grateful to anyone who may point me in the right direction for researching particular keywords. The same goes for my affiliate link which came from a limited range of options, being ClickBank, or so I found. I've looked at different marketplaces for such affiliate programs but haven't found anything better, so again it would be much appreciated if someone could steer me towards the right resources for such schemes.

My plan is that for every keyword, I submit one article to eZine and one re-written version to my website. How flexible can I be in the sense of using the same keywords and titles without the same main body text?

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for spending time to help me out.

You can use cbengine.com for more information about clickbank products or do a google search.

Since you are a beginner I recommend going for low competition keywords, you will have to do a little digging, I have a good keyword video on the site in my signature (bottom of the page) it offers a few different free keyword tools that I use to find low competition buyer keywords.

also why not submit your articles to other sites after posting them on your own site (recommend waiting at least a few days if not weeks)

    Hope this helps

Thank you very much everyone for the advice, I'll be sure to look into it. Jbode, what are the names of the keyword research tools you are using in your video? I didn't quite catch them.

    Hey Nyro! Welcome to WF

First of all, what is your link in your articles pointing to?

Is it a redirect straight to the affiliate page?
    A review?
    A presell?
    Another article?

As some people get confused on how to build a site and where to point links.

Make a page on your site with more of a review of the product your promoting dont blaitenly sell.

Make all your articles link to that page. But make sure the articles on your site are easily accessible. Like listing them in categories down the side. This will help make it look more professional, organised and will help alot with SEO and ranking your actual website.

An easy way to do this is with Wordpress. Do you know if wordpress is on your site? As your computer friend if they installed it. As it makes life that much easier.

But you seem to have gotten everything else spot on. Keyword research is a bit hard at first. Only coming up with 4 or 5 phrases, but after a while you will be able to think outside the box and start finding little jems.

    So for dog training...examples are

    Make your great dame jump
How to make your own dog food
    Teaching a labrador to sit

(i just made this up at the top of my head )

At the momment your probally thinking of thinks like.

    How to train your dog
    How to do dog training
    Learn dog training
    Dog training at home

while you might find some good phrases your limited. So its all about thinking outside the book.

Look on forums related to your site. See what people are talking about

A good place is also yahoo answers has topics on everything!

if you can pump out 3 - 5 articles a day thats pretty good (I dont know how much time you have)

but you should definatly see results within the month.

You need to do some research on backlinking and link building aswell to really boost your site.

But make sure you have everything else sorted first.

    As for alternatives to clickbank

    Paydotcom.com

    or

Just search google "dog training affiliate" or "dog ebook affiliate"

    or

Link to books on Amazon or eBay. That could work. But clickbank is fine for now. You start testing and trying new things once you have an established stream of traffic and money coming in. That way you can test and benchmark your results.

    Hope all this help

Good luck! And keep us posted!

    clickbank is not bad, really.

The best thing you can do, get your site up (if not already) and consistently feed it new and unique content, one or two a day.

Google KW tool is actually NOT that bad, KWbrowse i never heard of, but keyword elite is "ok" and "market samurai" is supposed to be very good if you want to do more in-depth keyword research.

Just realised it is Googlie Insights, sorry. Michael, how different do the articles have to be? What I did was take the ones I posted on eZine and just rephrased everything so that I could put them on my website.

Michael, even if Ezine did still give you backlinks you could only ever get "1" as all the backlinks are coming from the same Site. So only 1 would count.

But the main reason for using Ezine is because it gets the artciles listed highly.

How many times do you see Ezine Articles on the 1st page? Alot

    Any other directorys? Not alot
