Free Ways To Market Clickbank Products?

I have been promoting clickbank products on adwords but was wondering if anyone knew of any other ways to promote it for free because adwords costs a little too much.

You pretty much need to have a known sales page conversion rate to use Adwords successfully, things were simpler 5 years ago when ads were lots cheaper, there seems to be a bigger chance of getting your Adsense account banned advertising Clickbank as well.

As jimma2k suggested, most people create a content site and apply SEO to get search ranking, it's a slow building process but less risky than paid ads. If the site is somewhat generic you can switch to different affiliate products if you find one is not converting.

To be honest with you clickbank has really slumped in sales. But def build a blog get opt ins etc is the way to go however thats not free as all of that costs you money to set up. There really is no solid free method to make you money your going to have to pay for an AR.

I would agree. Write some good content around a product, then try to promote it on social media like reddit, twitter, pinterest. Then grab their emails. Over time you'll have a huge list of emails to send your content out to. It does take some time though. Make sure you pick the right subject with alot of products to sell.

Create some web 2.0 properties such as a blogger blog, squidoo lens, wordpress blog, etc. then write some articles on various article directories pointing back to those web 2.0 sites.

Leave comments on blogs and do some social bookmarking for some backlinks.

You can also use the articles you write and create video and pdfs with them and submit them.

Personally id avoid making a blog, unless your willing to buy a few guides (up to date) that will teach you the basics. There is a lot you can get wrong with seo at the moment and google seems to be cracking down on small affiliate sites (panda + penguin).

Here are a few of the strategies I think are currently viable:
Adwords (no reason this would not work if you kept split testing your landing pages and keep reducing you bids)
Article Marketing (can be slow and painful, but I have articles that still send me traffic from years ago, you dont really have to worry about google slapping your site as you post on authority sites like ezinearticles)
Video Marketing (I dont have much experience with this but it seems like a logical format)
Forum Marketing (if you are allowed aff links)
Build a list and market clickbank products to them (not too hard to get set up and you can market to your list for years to come)
Blogging/SEO (something id personally stay away from, lots of things can go wrong...i.e you find out your main keyword isn't buying, google sandboxes you, takes months of work, doing the seo yourself can be confusing, easy to get wrong AND boring).
I am sure there are more but cant think of that I've had exp with.

When you have cashflow from one of these elements I would recommend starting a blog and working with someone to help you SEO it well.

    Hope it helps a bit.

Hi, one huge problem I found with Clickbank products is that the sales pages almost always look very shady (hyperbole and huge red letters and arrows everywhere) and I think it is fair to assume anybody who lands on those pages from an ad will search the product in Google to make sure it isn't a scam. Then they will visit other people's affiliate review sites and probably click their affiliate links if they decide to buy it, meaning you lose out on a sale. Maybe this isn't always the case, but I really think getting your reviews to the top of Google is very important to avoid this happening. In the past I have used Facebook PPC for Clikbank and my sales were always very low in comparison to my hops and I suspect that is the reason why. Also, I think sending people to your own opt in page and offering them some pre-sales stuff via email would be very important, as said above. But I think Google hates squeeze pages so it might be tricky.

I will build an authority site on your given subject. Authority sites have the impression of trust and credibility and that is what you want to show your prospects when they come to your site. If they trust you enough, they will buy whatever you said is good.

If you have no cash for ads, write your own articles. Remember to spend some time in developing a list as well. It will help you go a long way.

There are many ways you can promote clickbank products using free methods:
      • forum marketing
      • yahoo answers
      • video marketing
      • creating a free blog/web 2.0 page (squidoo, hub pages etc)

When first started promoted affiliate products. I started with free PPC coupons from Google and Bing. If you can manage to make profit re-invest in other paid marketing. However, the traditional free (mentioned above) still works. One think I have learned is to be creative with your marketing strategy. Taking good parts from a method to combined it with other methods.

Head on over to Google and find some popular blogging sites in your niche.

A lot of people with blogs are looking for guest posters, and then at the end of the article - you can link back to your site (or in this case your Clickbank link).

Although, I highly recommend sending them to a squeeze page first - building your list - and then your Clickbank affiliate link.

Youtube is suppose to be really good for clickbank. I would link it to your website where you can have a top 5 list of products & reviews.

I think video reviews could go along way. Especially if you actually buy the product or get a free review copy and give an honest review.
