Slick-Looking Videos in Kickstarter

I've noticed that the most successful projects in Kickstarter (i.e., the ones that get the most funding) are often the ones that also look the most professional and have the slickest looking video presentations. I'm curious if anyone knows which video software applications are used to create these highly-professional looking presentations. I've been away from video for awhile so I'm looking for a reasonably-affordable, user-friendly app to build mine. I used to be very competent in Adobe Premiere so I'm not completely unfamiliar to video editing. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

My guess would be that they used Adobe After Effects, you can create some really neat videos with it. It requires some processing power for rendering videos so if you don't have a good processor you won't be productive.

I'm currently using Sony Vegas 9. It works well for what I am currently doing (video ads, presentations, and music cover videos). The editing is pretty straightforward and is loaded with a bunch of effects. I'm no video editing guru, but I like it.

I agree with Auto, they're probably created with Adobe After Effects.

You can buy really cool pre made After Effects Projects (templates).

After Effects is about $1000, but you can get a free 30 day trial and Adobe has a monthly "lease" program that's $30 a month on a month-to-month, or $20 a month if you agree to a 1 year contract.
