What do you think guys: do I have a good chance to dominate the top 10?
The second one is really good onsite optimized but they don't have a big amount of backlinks?!

I think i give it a try. On the first spot of the serps, this keyword has daily 167 exact searches according to Market Samurai. It could be worth it.

    Definitely go for it. That is a really easy keyword. It looks like you have a couple of authority sites ranking there that could be easily outranked.

    The second site is a huge giveaway. He has hardly any backlinks and no page rank. By looking at the Dmoz listing it looks like they are mostly huge authority sites that don't specialize in the particular niche.

    Go for it... Optimize on page a little more than site 2, get links from the same places he has links and then more.

    I am no seo expert but some of my pages beat out some massive high authority sites since the panda and penguine updates, and many before that as well. So I think backlinks are overrated. Good content is not. However, I do have some good backlinks to some of my better sites so maybe that helps.

    I love these kind of posts. Here's (what I consider to be) the correct answer: We have no idea.

    The screenshot's nice and all, but we don't know where your content is going to come from, your monetization strategy, your backlinking strategy, what you are actually planning on doing with the site, or if you'll follow through for more than 5 days.

    So, instead of answering your question, I would rather ask one of you OP:

    Are you going to stick with it even if it doesn't work in the first 90 days and keep working at it until it finally does work?
