Do we have any Aweber ninja's in the house?

I want to do something on Aweber and I don't know if it's possible.

After people get the first welcome message I only want them to get my automatic messages on a Monday, which will include extra tips and the occasional offer.

I'll also send a broadcast message out every Friday with snippets of the posts from the previous week.

It just means they won't get 2 messages on the same day, plus the emails will be spread out equally.

Is this even possible? I can't even see anywhere with the new system where you can choose certain days/times.

Cheers

When you add a new message to your Followup sequence, there is a checkbox below that says, "Only deliver this message on certain days and times." Check that box and a new set of options appear for deliver days and times.

HI YAAAAAAAAAAAA! Ninja here. : )

New interface at aweber so it's a bit different.

After creating your message, at the top of page, you can enter the interval, the number of days between this message and the previous one. Note that the first follow up message on your list will always be sent out immediately after a subscriber joins your list.

Broadcast and follow up messages can be sent at certain intervals -- X number of days after "previous" message.

      Thank you, ninja.

After EBR's comment I wasn't sure if it was just because I had only set the welcome message. I guess that has to go out instantly. I just looked at the bottom of the message and seen nothing.

  • You can still get access to the 'old' editor (which I feel is much better/easier to use).

When you go to create a broadcast message, look below all your messages and click on the 'Looking for the old broadcast editor?' link, & you can easily do it there.
