Offline Advertising for Online Products

I have seen this in a few of the affiliate marketing guru ebooks a few months back and was wondering if anyone was having any success with off line advertising.

I am thinking about placing ads in the home business magazines as well as the weekly edition of the USA today weekend classifieds.

I have tried this myself a few years back and didn't get enough response to pay for the ads. However, this was a nationwide classified ad in thrifty nickel type newspapers.

Any experience you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Jeremy Kelsall has a WSO you might be interested in. Not too many people talk about offline advertising...kinda wonder why myself...good question though.
