Need some quick article submitting advice... Thanks!

Hi!

I did loads of research here and in other spots and have decided to just submit my article to these sites manually..

ezinearticles
buzzle
goarticles
selfgrowth.com (fits my niche)

Google already loves my site and in most of my words I rank pretty high. Just looking for some more exposure.

In that case, when I do this, does each submission need to differ?

If so, how?

Will I be ok if I JUST replace out the keyword?
Can I keep the same keyword?
Do I also need to change the article around?

What is the easiest and safest way to change it?
OR DO I need to change it since I am submitting to so few places?

ONE FINAL question... is article dashboard a good one too? Or is my list pretty tight?

Thanks oh wise Warriors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think no one knows the definite answer for article submission strategy. I used to submit to ezine articles and isnare. I never worried about the duplicate content.

You may want to take a look for the top 25 article directories with good PR and Alexa ranking.

      Really?

So I can submit the SAME thing to all 5 without duplication issues? Same KW's and all?

At your own risk: too many similar backlinks too fast with the same content and anchor text might get you sand boxed (Google drops you in the SERP).

What about HubPages or Squidoo... do they work differently?

Perhaps submitting to eZineArticles, HubPages and Squidoo all at once?

What about if I rotate...meaning I submit Article A to eZine, and article B to eZine a week later while submitting article A to a new site?

              John,
The main point is to submit different articles then what you actually add to your website. Ideally, it would be nice if you could have a different version for everywhere you submit and at a bare minimum a different version then what you submit to ezinearticles.com.

However, with all that said I have made money with sites that are made with nothing but pure unchanged PLR and continue to do so which clearly has allowed me to form my own opinions on the duplicate content penalty. If you have the ability to drive your own traffic at will to your websites then you have the ability to make money with duplicate content - again, this is just my observation.

              Resepctfully,

                Thanks Tim...

So, basically if I am going to write articles or hire people, I'll have better luck ranking if I just put them on my own site.

I was looking to change the main keyword, add a few sentences and shift a couple paragraphs around...

AND THEN submit those... Just a way to get some more traffic off of my already written content.

With limited time, am I best just to do this with eZineArticles only then? I'm just looking for some extra traffic....

OR do I take those articles and use SubmitYourArticle.com?

I sure appreciate everyone helping me clear this up...

Personally, I'd start with whatever is more cost effective for you and then as your business starts to generate income you could experiment with something like SubmitYourArticle.com

No matter what you decide you should at least use EzineArticles.com and if you can splurge the $5 a month for Allen Graves article directory service I would recommend that also especially with the deal he is running over in the WSO section right now.

                    Well,

I have the money and a VA to do lots of the work. I also have 80 or so articles on my 3 web sites I could use as articles.

I guess I was wondering the best way to use the articles I have to get more exposure or traffic.

I also don't ant to risk my relationship with Google.

If I could get some extra hits every month that would be great.

Just wondering the best strategy. What will be worth my time and money..especailly with the whole 80/20 thing.

If this is not the way to submit articles, meaning repurposing content on my 3 sites and changing them up a bit, then at least I know that's not a viable option.

So, is submitting repurposed web site content as articles a good idea, and what will be worth my time (and money).... Just looking for a little boost.

                    Thanks so much Tim....

                      John,
In that case I would recommend you test it out for a month and see if the traffic increases (which I believe it will significantly). At that point you will have some concrete data you can then use to make a decision on whether or not to continue with a paid submission model.

One word of caution, I would at least make sure the articles are different from the articles on your website. That's just a personal preference of mine and it's not related to duplicate content. I want to make sure that a visitor to my site doesn't see the ame article that brought them there causing them to immediately leave. I'd prefer they see a different article on the same subject so they stick around long enough to leave via a link that ultimately ends up making me some money (adsense, cpa or affiliate link).

                        Wow... thanks!

Do you mean test out SYA.com? Or just use eZineArticles and a few others?

Will SYA.com make that big of a difference than just submitting to the top 3 or so directories?

I do appreciate it, and want to buy your $12 book too... will do that... thanks!

Start with EZA and then next month use SYA.com that way you could compare the two in terms of traffic generation and profitability.

Appreciate the purchase. I think you'll liek the product - It's sorta like a part 2 to the System Seminar video but does stand on its own.

                          Thanks,
