Hello Warriors,
2day I signed up for so.cl and IMO its nothing but just advanced twitter. Not at all in comparison with FB. I am really disheartened. Hoped something nice n pro from MS.

Update:
So.cl is a new born baby but it already become a home of spammers. I have posted 3 posts like Hello, I m new here...bla bla bla and all the 3 posts are liked by a single profile who seems to be a SEO guy sharing all his sites.

      When Facebook opened public registration in September 26, 2006 people were talking about same like you said, and now everyone can see..

        U r correct but at that time there were few social sites...so FB just came out simple and then evolved to its present condition.

        But so.cl........there r lots of social sites and MS must have considered that .... Sites like reddit, digg, SU are just alive...in this situation I don't find it meaningful to come out with a site like twitter.

        Sorry for my bla..blaing..MS and its engineers are lot more talented than me...I respect BG and MS...

    Haven't tried this yet and probably won't hearing all the bad revies about it. Not that bothered though. I'm more than happy continuing to market on popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

    To be honest, most of the social networking phenomenon, is wasted on me, back when most people were "Chatting" I was learning how to develop chat room advertising programs, I just never really got into the social butterfly thing.

    Same thing with facebook twitter, pinterest, but when ever you go out to walmart, have a look around, and the one thing you will notice is that 7 out of 10 people are involved in a cell phone interaction, now that is something that really amazes me...

    Google plus flopped too, they pumped millions into it, but it was just blah, not really sure why...

    Maybe if they will be giving free license Operating System for those who will register, then this new social networking site will start to have many members.

    In all seriousness, we have no idea yet what they have in mind. Perhaps they have something to offer that will benefit us.

    So, we shall soon find out!

    Hello! Yeah I totally agree. Their site is no good at all. I was really expecting it will be quiet nice for their good reputation. But it turned out the site was a total waste of budget. I really think they would've made an even greater idea than this.

    I quite like the domain. I presume they were trying to make it look like "social"? If they did a big advertising campaign, they could probably get it to stick in people's minds as something unique. A .com would have been easier though - and any domain won't make up for the amount of spam that's built up there already.

      I honestly like the looks way more than Facebook. I always hated their user interface. Still wish Myspace was popular.
