Why Do The WarriorForum Paid Banners All Look The Same?

I have been wondering this for sometime, but why are almost all of the Warrior Forum Paid Banners the same 2 or 3 colors, blue and black, and sometimes red? And there are never any pictures within the banners, only text.

Are they only approving these types of banners, or are the people advertising just copying what is already being shown?

As someone who does banner ad media buys, I find this very odd.

I would say WarriorForum paid banners have less ad blindness than banners with static or animated picture.

Lol... My first response to reading your question was "because they're all trying to scam you the same exact way" but now that I realize you are asking just about colors and such, yes I suppose they are required to be formatted in a certain way as an above poster noted.

The rules they on ecover are real strict.. Guess the admins dont want to take away the power of the forum by letting crazy banners take over

I suppose it is just the format and the way they are displayed that makes you see them this way.

I am guessing you want one right LOL!

The link is given. Read the rule first for ad details in warrior forum. Hope everything will be clear. But what to tell, is a very good observation.

Because it's what works. Why re-invent the wheel when there is a working one already created, and you can just jump in?

I suppose they don't want members to be distracted. Good for them but not so great for advertisers.

Thanks for the responses. The link to the explanation was all I was looking for. In regards to them looking like text links, yes that works great on media buys, but as someone who does extensive testing, once in a while you find a winner that is not what everyone else is doing.

Anyway, my point wasn't to debate the effectiveness of the banners, moreso to find out why they have a similar look. I got my answer, thanks guys.

Yes... because that is the rules

The ads must be appeared as text link ads with black, blue color, than a banner ads.

The admin wants the forum keep neat and well-ordered. It's a good thing, because you could get information that you're looking for without distracted with ads that appears everywhere.

Not an expert on paid ads, but I believe text links have been known to perform better than banners. Could that be a reason - open to debate! Its the way paid banners are supposed to be on the warrior forum as per the rules - not open to debate!

      Cheers

I was wondering the same thing, That makes sense ,to not distract the forum
and to keep it clean lined look. Though some are more artistic then others, Call to action is better term i suppose. To the guy saying there all scams is not true.

Its funny when i saw this rules
"If you don't do design, please get someone to do it for you. If the banner goes beyond ugly it will not be accepted."
They want make their site look professional , this is a good quality control.
They do not support image and flash , this might be they dun want it to cause their site load slow.

It is due to restriction on the banner designs as to match the look of this forum.
