  There are wide interests in broad spectrums of the population for these niches. Numerous books on these topics can be sold to just about any demographic worldwide from Clickbank and Amazon. It seems there is an insatiable demand for trying to support the untenable.

Just my opinion, but if you or anyone offers paid coaching for this, I highly recommend you have some sort of credentials that actually qualify you as a coach in this area. There are far too many people who offer "coaching" for different things, and they have no training in coaching or anything related that truly qualifies them to coach others.

Anyone can be your coach if you want them to be yeah? You qualify your coach.

I don't think I would promote these product types simply because I don't believe they work and I would feel like a fraud. I want to be able to stand behind my promotions proudly.

When going through possible products to promote I skip these ones entirely.

I can see how all of them are profitable though, it's just those two that I could not endorse as I would feel that I was ripping people off or taking advantage of gulible people.

On a side note, these are all profitable but also highly competitive so I am guessing you will be focusing on more specific keywords if using SEO or use other forms of marketing like with a list, etc. right?

I make so much money that every pay pal email I get starts out calling me by name. Pay Pal is a big company.

Although I never speak directly of numbers I will say it fits inside a 19 inch monitor ....but I do have to scroll down ..and start scrolling in the B section.

There are some pretty solid products out there in those niches,
you just gotta find them! In regards to the lottery one
I know what you're thinking (Magic Button)
You buy the Lottery software/system or guide and booom
the very next day you hit the jackpot lol

However that is not the case at all...

The products I am pushing in this niche ( Lottery)
Are interviews & strategies of folks who hit the lotto twice and even three times in their lives.
they go in complete detail & explain why they believe they won....
very powerful stuff!...There are no promises that one is going to win,
No system,formula or loopholes everything is very clear
"Exclusive Interviews" very simple.
Something that would be extra helpful if you're a lottery addict

P.S.I myself have implemented some of it and got some results
but nothing to brag about or too dramatic But who knows what's coming..

I would also definitely recommend staying in a niche where you don't need licensure or some other qualifications to teach about it. I see so many people going into the health and wellness niche and even dog training. I say be careful you're not giving medical advice and that can be tricky with some of those niches.

Yes Passion is very important if you are planning to sell your own products, For affiliate marketing, it is the marketing passion which is mroem important than the actual product you are selling, as long as you are findign good vlaued products, doing proper research then you are good to go. and of course you can then go back to your passion and create your products there... Blessed are those who have both passion and an awesome affiliate marketing offer as then they can logically extend to create ther products in the same niche and take it all :-)

Even after the 2012 "prepper" niche is gone, I'm sure it will be very alive because of the state of affairs these days. Plus, some new quack will come along and pick a new end of days date. Been going on for who knows how long.

Someone asked about online gaming... depends on where in the world you are. I used to promote a sports betting site and made bank back in the day. But Google decided they didn't want Adwords advertisers to profit and stopped allowing the ads. So you'd have to either SEO a site or do media buys.

but that's because I probably use a slightly different
business model, and don't focus on Clickbank products.

I'm sure there are lots of others who actually struggle
in those niches, which also tells me that you're worked
out a system that produces for you consistently.

to be honest most niches are profitable.... you just need to work out how to get the money out of them....

Some niches are more profitable than others but I would still look at finding your own......

Just in regard to the lottery, there are methods you can use to statistically improve your chances at winning. Not saying you ever would of course but if they are (the products) based on mathematical stats then they may not be all bogus.

The lottery is a good 'evergreen' niche, if you can find the right product

I've been promoting the Formula 1 Lotto System for a couple of years. I know the product itself has been selling online for 6 years or so, so it's reputable, and is about no. 3 or 4 on CB

It's interesting that the "end of the world" is a never ending niche.

I just wish I'd known about the grow taller thing years ago. I wouldn't have spent my whole adult life at 5' 3". Dang it. But then, I wouldn't have cared how tall I was once I won the lotto. If only I'd known...

See my post #60. I've been prophesying for over 16 years that the world will not end any time soon. And so far (thank my lucky stars), I've always been 100% right, despite all the fearsome proponents promulgating the contrary. Although you just missed the Big One (Mayan 2012 doomsday prophesy), there is virtually an endless supply of books on Clickbank and Amazon regarding the end of the world for selling to both the suckers and the sensible.

I want you to take any one of these niches, or even one you think could never hit, and give it to one of these guys that have been around.

I'll tell you now, they will make more money in a month on one of the weakest niches you have, compared to what "over analyzing" a top niche can make in a year.
You have heard" Jack could sell a refrigerator to an Eskimo"? That is what it is all about and what the detailed explanations are trying to say. Learn to sell and learn to communicate.. and you can sell whatever you have a mind to....

The height increase niche is definitely popular. And I'm not even talking about books that "teach" you how to grow taller.

A few years ago I ordered a 1 1/2" pair of height increasing foam airsoles off ebay. Not only do they make you taller, but they are the most incredible things you can put in your shoes. It makes you feel like you're walking on the moon. I'm not even exagerating.

Long story short, my brother borrowed them 1 day, now he has 2 pairs, then my other brother tried them out, got a pair for himself, then a few friends wound up buying them... the things are amazing.

There is a guy on ebay selling them, I think he's called "insoleking" or something. If you do any type of running, like to wear boots, or just like to walk around with a smile on your face + an extra bit of swagger, then GET A PAIR. I swear on my life they are awesome. And fairly inexpensive too.

Anything related to the health niche (preferably diseases or health conditions), wherein people are desperate for a cure.

Or anything that requires an instant "fix-it".

Bed Bugs are a great niche.
Thrush is a good niche.
Texting to get your ex back is a weird but profitable niche it seems.

Talking about niches is a good niche probably. People will buy anything these days.

In all seriousness though, I despise anybody that puts a product out that gives hope to terminally ill people. If you're not a doctor, stay away from people that need one.

Alternative medicine cure can be a good niche. Additionally it can really help some people.

Lately I have been doing kw research with Market Samurai and have been hitting a wall when I see the amount of competition that is out there.

What is a competition number that is to high for even the 'average joe' to think about stepping in the ring?

I have made a little bit with CPA offers through PPC marketing and now would like to re-focus on selling affiliate/physical products.

Right now I'm just having trouble find the low hanging fruit kw's.

As a general rule anything inside the Health, Wealth, or Relationships domain will be able to sell and more importantly will be around for years to come. People have been making money with wealth advice since the great depression and shortly after dawned the "information age" where people are constantly searching to improve their lives, the most common problems having to do with health and relationships.

I had success with motorcycle racing. Racing in general attracts a devoted crowd, especially for memorabilia. Self help/improvement will always be a top one.

Memorabilia and collectibles niches are huge and often very profitable. People in these niches are obsessed.

Sports jerseys collectibles.
Star wars collectibles
Dakota collectibles.
Medieval collectibles.
Coca cola collectibles
Disney collectives.
WWE collectibles.
etc etc etc to infinity and beyond.

Guys the niche doesn't have to be massive for you to be able to make money in it. You just need to find a problem people are having and provide a solution. Business 101.

I know a lady who is making $10,000 a month in the quilting niche...quilting!!! I know another guy that has made over $100,000 this year from a blog in baseball cards. If they can do it so can you. Pick something you are interested in, find a common problem in the niche and provide a solution!

That being said, personally my most profitable niches have been: (in order)

1) IM/MMO
2) Survivalists
3) Romance/relatshionships
