beginner- different types/methods of marketing

Hi guys, as the title says, I was wondering if someone could explain to me the main types of profitable affiliate marketing, and where would be the best place for a complete beginner to start?

A little push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated, before I read myself into a coma:confused:

    The advice I can give is to pick one form of aff marketing and stick to it. If you jump round you won't make anything...

    Check out my signature, it can help you
    structure your idea of marketing.

    Try to sell simple products in smaller niches
    for a start, then try out other types of
    affiliate programs like cost-per-action (CPA)
    etc.

    Just focus on ONE thing at a time until you
    reach success. Then replicate it again, and
    refine your process until you earn big.

    For example, some 6-figure/7-figure marketers
    don't do the same things as I do.

    Some focus on selling PLR, some do affiliate
    marketing like me but use different conversion
    funnels, some stick to mailings, some stick to
    product launches, some move away from
    marketing and do highly-demanded services
    instead. I know one successful one who
    went on to build an internet e-commerce site
    that gives him a residual income.

    Most of them do work, but what's important is
    that you get the right information, and persist
    on.

    first of all you need to start small as you go along you will get better and grow in marketing and before you know it you might become the best as long as you try and stick to it, it may take a long time or maybe a short time as long as you try and let God lead the way you will do grate thing God bless you

    Depends on which type of IM you are interested. I would suggest you to start by writing articles of different types of products you want to advertise, then slowly market it by sharing it on social networking sites.
