Doing something wrong or not enough time?

I started my blog mid-may and have about 69 posts. I post at least once a day, often twice a day. Blog traffic has increased virtually every day. Went from very few unique visitors a day to about 150. Monetized with chitika (just started one week ago), a few ads through Commission Junction, in addition to adsense, and amazon. Have made virtually no money. Since I am new, I don't know if I am doing something wrong (related to making no money) or if it is too soon to know since my blog is less than a month old. My sense is that since the traffic is increasing steadily (though slowly) everyday that is good but I also know that just having good content, or steady content, is not enough to make $$. What do you think? Thx.

    little grey,

I think it is too early to say that you are doing anything wrong, but in my opinion blogging as a business model is something that takes a ridiculous amount of traffic in order to be successful and make a lot of money.

Plus the fact that Google is so fickle (I recently had a website that was my main earning adsense site get completed crushed in Google, even though the site was 100% white-hat) makes me nervous about relying on free traffic from Google as a business model.

I don't know what your niche is, but I think it would be wise for you to look into building a list and diversifying your traffic & income sources.

Best of luck with your blog!
