[UR OPINION PLZ] what product to sell online and calling center?

hi guys,
im currently working in a big company. we have a call center of around 700+ sales people. we currently sale only one product but we figured we can sell pretty much anything ... we wanna try and sell online and if the costumer doesnt buy we give him a call. also we would like to have the option to upsell later on or at the same call.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance=]

How are you going to get the customer's number?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

OK, you did say ANY SUGGESTIONS. (I even bolded it in the quote for reference.)

#1 - Costumers are people who design clothing, mostly for movies. Customers are people who purchase things. Selling online involves gaining the trust of your customers and clients. Proper spelling is normally involved in this venture.

#2 - Salesgurus had a good point - how do you plan on getting the customer's number? If he or she doesn't buy from you, then you have no information and you cannot call the customer.

#3 - What is the 1 product that all 700 of your salespeople sell now? Can you do various add-ons for that product? Upsales, cross-sales, etc?

#4 - I'm being really nitpicky here, but please tell me that the business has a more legit name than the screen name you're using here...as a professional, I'd never buy someone who had the word "hangover" or the number "666" in their name. That's just me, though.

first of all thanks for the replay, we are talking about around 700 trained salesman that deals usually with immigration products, we just figured we can go to different niches as well.
as for my name Jrycu, its my own business. what relevance does a nickname from childhood has to a question on a forum ?

thanks all and have a good day =]

It amazes me how many people can't spell a 6-letter name correctly. It's JaRyCu, Jarycu, jarycu, or Jason. Or just 'j'. Or 'hey you' or any number of 4-letter words that you'd like to call me. I'm happy with any of that so long as it is spelled correctly.

The relevance is that you asked for "any suggestions," so I made all of the suggestions I could pull from your brief blurb. And all of your friends called you Hangover666 when yall were out playing as children? That's some serious dedication there to a nickname.

Back to your original question: What product should you sell online? If you have 700 salesman, I'd take a poll and get the Top 5 most popular items from the group. That way you get to try and sell things that the majority of you are interested in and probably know something about.

You work for a "big company", you have "700+" sales staff and you are asking for random suggestions online for what your company can sell?????

Sorry, but something doesn't add up here. Which country are you in? What do you sell already? Where do you sell them? What skills do your employees have? Do you have storage facilities? What skills do your other staff have? What does your CEO want to sell?

You could sell anything from used nuclear submarines to knitting needles, from multi million dollar homes to garden trowels.

I think you need to discuss this this with your colleagues, not random posters on a forum. That's assuming you are asking a serious question.

If you have already an established product you can promote other related products as well. But are you really asking the question for answer? When you have more than 700 sells person, you certainly have many products to sell.
