A piece of software called SocialBot has worked well for me. It was created by a Warrior called Big Mike.

A website that I frequently use for social bookmarking is Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com. All you need to do is create a title, description, add tags, check the sites you want to submit to, and the rest is pretty easy (drag and drop).

Socialbot is upgrading now, should be very impressive. You shouldn't ignore bookmarking demon as well.

Agree on bookmarking demon, a really good piece of software, particularly if your looking to quickly and efficiently bookmark lots of sites in one big hit. The price is quite competitive so worth checking out. The great free option that I still use in the social marker.com system, which enables you to submit to loads of bookmarking sites, but it does take time though. On the plus side, it is very thorough though and you know for sure that you did right the first time!

I do my own bookmarking and offer a bookmarking service. I have tried socialbot has many issues and hopefully the upgrade will correct some of that. Social marker has it's limitations and is very slow even with high speed cable. Onlywire is also very limited on the number of sites and in the past a few sites have banned them from accessing their sites.

There are not very many good solutions out there, which is why I created my own service.

Its awesome, now submitting to 187 social bookmarking sites. Each time I submit a post, I get 1500-2000 unique visitors to my blog over the next 3 or 4 days.

I am curious to know how they are handling many social bookmarking sites that now have a timer on login and add url forms... The website as I seen it really did not mention anything about timers but many bookmarking sites are starting to use them due to spam software (software that is used wrong or not used for it's intended purpose)

Also, some sites have captcha for a reason on submissions.. They do this not only to block spam but to block auto submission, do you not think it is unethical to use a websites server resources with automation when obviously they do not want the automation ???

This is one thing many people do not understand when it comes to automation. First and foremost you should respect the site owner if they do not want auto submissions. There is a reason why they try to block and by dis-respecting them they will at some point employ security measures higher than just captcha...

The interphase has a random interval setting. For example you may get one URL submitted to 10 bookmarking sites over the course 3 hours then another 18 bookmarking sites over 5 hours..........so in all the software could submit your URL to 191 bookmarking sites over the course of 24-36 hours.

You can also spin the description and title with the latest version of the software....I have used it for 7 months, with awesome results

If it took me 36 hours to get a simple little 190 bookmarks I sure would not pay $150 for over-priced software..

But I think you mis-understood my questions..

1st many sites such as - Boom Box 507 - have timers on the login and submit forms... Go to login on that site and you will see. Does this over-priced $150 software account for these timers ? In otherwords does the software wait 60 sec to login and then wait another 60 sec after login before it submits ????

2nd digg which is one site I seen them display on the sales copy, digg is against automation software for the purpose of auto submissions such as this software. Ethically it does not bother you to use software on a site that does not want auto submissions ????

Random changing the titles, descriptions, and keywords is no big deal.. I offer that with my WSO...

    Hi Brett

Unfortunately with my experience with SB tools nothing is quite right.

There seems to always be bugs and the automation is never exactly what you want.

Hate to rain on the idea but that's my experience

HOWEVER I have heard some good reviews from people about SocialBot, so if anything maybe give that a try

Have to investigate social bot, and can't say I've seen it before but sounds interesting! I've always used bookmarking demon as it a very quick way to build the links to your site, but I still occasionally use socialmarker.com for some "manual" bookmarking methods as it is very thorough (and a little time consuming!).

Personally, I have used Bookmarking Demon and I don't really like it. The interface is not user-friendly and contains a lot of bugs. Doesn't really work very well also. I would rather use Big Mike's software. And I also hire my own manual social bookmarker.

Warriors have been using it for years - it's solid automation that is designed to use the Social Bookmarking services properly, without overloading their servers.

Except for a couple of users who intentionally spammed services with it, no one has EVER been banned for using SocialBot.

No, it's not perfect - no tool like this ever is. But, we've steadily improved it for four years now, and that's a hell of a track record. The biggest problem, which is not actually SocialBot's is that so many Scuttle sites appear, get abandoned and stop working. We can't control that - we can only keep weeding out the bad ones and adding good ones.

And V4.0, which is being released sometime next week, supports at least 40 of the primary services out there - by primary I mean sites like Digg, Technorati, etc., and even Facebook and MySpace type social networking sites. With improved submission reporting, profile management, the ability to add/remove your own Scuttle and Pligg sites, etc., semi-automatic account creation and so much more, it's a powerful application for IM'ers.

When V5.0 is released, I can guarantee you that all other competing products will become obsolete. And with Incansoft's new "Free Upgrades For Life" policy, you'll never pay more for the application - ever. Considering we've been developing this over four years now, that's one hell of a deal.

Ethically, whether you automatically submit to social bookmarking sites using software or outsource the job to someone for manual submission, there is no difference - the end result is the same and you're just splitting hairs for the purpose of promoting your WSO, because you don't have an automated tool to compete with us.

So I don't feel bad stating that members here could grab your WSO to manually submit 450+ bookmarks for $9.77 or they can take our unannounced special and buy SocialBot for $7.77 and submit unlimited bookmarks by going to the URL below and using Coupon Code UPGRADEME to get the discount.

SocialBot V3.0 | Quickly Bookmark ALL Of Your Website's Pages Automatically (Without Doing It Page By Page) With SocialBot

Grabbing V3.0 above entitles you to a FREE upgrade to V4.0 being released sometime next week and then free upgrades for life. Do the math...value-wise it's a better deal by a long shot.

And yes, that is a shameless self-promotion on my part, but for good reason. When V4.0 is released, you will never be able to get it for less than $24.95 and with V5.0, the price is going up.

What can I say? I've got a soft spot for Warriors and want them to get the best deal they can

      P.S. -
If you already own SocialBot, you'll be getting the V4.0 upgrade free as well.

What will be the difference between V3 and V4 and then V5? Please specify.

Since I have done well over 300,000 bookmarks for other warriors and I do have over 200 accounts, I think that qualifies me to answer your question.

        * If these software developers choose to disrespect the site owners and do auto submission even after knowing the site owners do not want auto submission then yes, the software at some point will be no good and accounts will be removed.

        * Many bookmarking site owners have coded Captcha into their systems, many have went as far as removing the actual registration, while others have custom coded different aspects into their sites to block auto submission and spam. These site owners do this for a reason and in my personal opinion they should be respected because otherwise they will only build additional security and blocking methods into their systems. Meaning after a while they will shut dow their websites or use higher technologies to block auto submissions all together.

        * In defense of "real" software developers I will say that they have no control over how someone uses their software. It may be meant for a good thing but can always be used for bad things. This is out of the control of those software developers.

        * In defense of site owners I will say this though. Software developers should respect site owners and if captcha is used then they should not build their software to trick these sites into thinking a real human is submitting.

*~* If you owned a site how would you like 10,000 bots hitting your website ever hour ?? Would your host hold it up ?? Would you be charged extra bandwidth fees ?? Would it pull down your site and get it closed by the host ??

The above questions is what most software developers do not care about or even consider, thus where the problem starts.

So you see to answer your question... Without software developers and customers using the software properly then you are correct, the software will end up no good at some point.

        James

Disclaimer: No submission service that I have disrespects any site owners captcha.. If they have captcha then I do not auto submit.

    Mike,
I wish you all the best with your product even though you attempt to downgrade me at every turn. That's ok, I noticed you did not read the WSO ...lol I do not have manual submissions and as far as you thinking I do not have a tool, just because it is not advertised does not mean I do not have a automated tool.

While mike self promotes his product, what he fails to tell you is that there is a huge difference between you creating a bookmark account and bookmarking your own sites vs hiring someone to bookmarks your sites using their accounts that are established. Bookmarking with established accounts by someone else will get you a more powerful backlink...

Ethically, whether you automatically submit to social bookmarking sites using software or outsource the job to someone for manual submission, there is no difference
Sorry Mike there is a big difference, if a site owner does not want you using their server resources then you should respect that. It's that simple, same goes for Article Submission or any other kind of submission. If the site owner chooses not to have automation bots access their server then that is their right and you should respect that. Anybody that says there is no difference or it does not matter what the site owner says, I seriously question their ethics.

Well, I have tried both. What most people fail to realize is that the link juice that comes with bookmarking links is almost negligible at this point. The better, albeit, more time consuming measure is to actually become involved in a couple social bookmarking communities and contribute something more than just a smattering of self promoting links. Plus, the chances of getting caught by the social bookmark sites that actually matter are pretty high and you always risk the chances of an outright ban. That is my .02 at least.

People wonder how to make the most out of digg, sphinn, SU and other social sites. The key, unfortunately is blatent self promotion. It is about becoming a part of the social community.

I am not sure where this discussion about automation separates

if you have autofill software I don't see a problem with this that is similar to a real person submitting

but if you use software to exploit the security of a website then I think you cross the line just like this autopligg that was the rage recently because they bombed the pligg sites weakness for security
