Hey there,

Would you be able to visit my site to see if two scripts work correctly?
www.ebookfreek.com

Script 1) Opt-in center screen popup (wait 5 seconds)
Script 2) Page peel ad upper right corner

Both display ok on my firefox browser on my mac - but I can't seem to see either on internet explorer 7 using two different computers. I see an error icon at the bottom of the browser so it's reading it but I'm not sure what the problem is. Does anyone have any advice as to why this might be occurring?

Thanks in advance!

I'm using Firefox on XP, and both the slider and the peel worked for me.

On a side note, three of the four links in your sig are violating forum rules.

    (5) No Affiliate Links Allowed - Promote Your Own Domains Only. It's either this or we have to cut out sig files altogether which we do not want to do.

    ...

Edit: Due to certain people trying to find a loophole I needed to add yet another edit. Please do not try to get around these rules by getting your own domain name and simply redirecting it to an affiliate program. You Will Be Removed From Here When Caught.

If you want to promote an affiliate program do it on your own domain. Your own web site. Not a "pre-made" web site. Your own web site, a real one. Then put THAT web site in your sig file.

Yes, thanks. I was made aware of this in a post earlier tonight. Am in the process of changing.

Thanks for checking. I wonder if it is just with IE that the scripts don't work.

Just tested for you in IE7 and nope, there is no page peel and there is no slide in sign up form appearing either.

    [Code snippet]
    <script src="http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx/peel/affiliat...x.com?id=41618" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://forms.aweber.com/form/81/10247181.js"></script>

The site in the snippet code is not your site, it's an affiliate link...... hmmm! Check it out with the provider of the code, see what answers they can give you.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks Janet. I'll keep searching for some answers. Thanks for checking and at least verifying that it isn't just me who can't see them.
