Best Press Release Services?? Suggestions??

I'm looking to start submitting some articles and infographics that I have through the proper channels and use a PR service. I have a finance related site and all of my pieces are (obviously) also finance related (a spoof cartoon on APR, student loan demographics, etc). So, I'm not sure if there are PR companies that specialize in finance or whatever...

Any suggestions? Recommendations? Good experiences? Bad experiences?

    PW web is one i went with before. If i remember correctly, they may be a little pricey, but they did what they said they said they where going to do

    Look into Business Wire. They have some upper level packages but they work very well. They will post your content to large sites such as the national post.

    Brilliant Equanto!! My press release won't really be about a company per se, but rather an article or an infographic that relates to my industry that I want distributed and hopefully picked up by high pr sites. I feel that the articles will appeal strongly to business/finance/money/economy sections of publications.

    Hi,

    I've been around the online press release block (see my sig) and it sounds like the 2 best matches for what you need are Business Wire and PR web.

    I don't really know what your angle will be to drive traffic to an infographic, but if you can tie that together with relevant current events that's probably your best shot at getting publicity for yourself

    If you can consistently produce cartoon spoof infographics then I would start to submit press release with each one you produce. If you can't afford to do this regularly then it would make sense to submit them to FREE sites and they create a PR/MEDIA link on your site and link back to them

    I've produced a bunch within the US for clients.. Always hit and miss whether it picks up traffic to a site or not. For a short burst it does, but over the long run, sometimes not

      Remember guys, it's not all about links and being seen online.

      The word 'press' exists in the phrase Press Release. So, make sure you target some real-life journalists. This is so much more credible, can reach a much wider audience and provides awesome real-world media coverage to show to your prospects.

      It's how we've been getting coverage for our clients since our inception.
