Credit Card Fraud with Recent IM Launch...

FYI...

Just got a call from Paypal that the Paypal Mastercard associated with my account was used fraudulently today. Apparently, someone tried to purchase $800+ tickets on "Air Asia Malaysia Sepang" after making a smaller $1 purchase at iTunes on Saturday.

Here's the kicker: I've only used this card once.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the merchant I purchased from is NOT securing credit card info very well. Who's the merchant? No names due to WF's policy. Is it ok to say I only paid for "shipping"?

Buyer beware.

(Thank god I cleaned out my Paypal account a few days before.)

Be on the lookout for fraud in this hard times. Some people don't want to work but they want to reap.
Don't leave money in your paypal account. You never know what might happen.
    Good advice.

Have you contacted them to notify them of the fraud?

I suggest you do so asap.

It's a very popular PPC Launch that just occurred. I can't leave any other info due to WF policies.

Paypal has issued the necessary credits.

I've notified the owner as well.
