Looking for ideas to generate money to pay medical bills for a friend!

Hi
My friend needs a liver transplant. I don't have that kind of money and neither does her family. Anyone have any ideas of how to raise the money? I thought will all the great minds here we might come up with a few. They need $250,000. I have a WSO in the process that I will put up and the money will go to her. But, really want to help as much as I can. So, I thought I would tap into the brilliant minds on this forum and see what answers I would get. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sylvia

Do you have any skills that you could sell on freelancing sites? Programming? Graphic Design?

    Sylvia...

Here's a good link that I think can really kickstart what you need to accomplish:

The Step-by-Step Guide to Raising Money For Medical Expenses | GiveForward

A similar site that could help you with your mission is CrowdRise which has been very instrumental in all sorts of fundraising campaigns:

Online Fundraising Website to Fundraise Online for Charity | Online Fundraising Pages on Crowdrise

    Best wishes to you!

You could raise the money for your friend by selling a Charity WSO.

Example of a WSO for Charity (not affiliate link): http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ve-life.html#1

You sell a bundle of WSO that you collect from others WSO Vendors. The money from the sales is 100% donated to your friend. You could rise the money for your friend in short time because Warriorforum is truely a wonderful forum full with people that eager to help someone in need.

Yep I'd start looking at the fundraising option. If people know that you are raising money for a good cause then they are more likely to give to that than a business interest. You could set up a website purely for that cause and add a pay pal donate now button to it. Add some background history and perhaps even add a blog with how your fundraising efforts are going on a daily basis and this would be a great way to attract potential donors.

I had thought of the website with her story and a donate now button along with a meter of how we were doing. But, I love the blog where I can give details about what she is going through and how the fundraising is going. Thanks for your post!

Depend on your skill level Sylvia.

The fastest way to make money that I personally know is to go and get really familiar with creating websites with Wordpress and then go sell your services to local businesses.

Charging local businesses a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per website is reasonable.

    Good luck!

Thank you! I have already learned to create websites so learning with Wordpress should be easy. Thanks for the idea.

I would suggest you to work as a freelancer, since selling a product will take time. Just search for some data entry jobs. Easy to be done, don't need any extreme skills and you will get the money you need.
Wish you good luck as well as to your friend too.

Thank you, I will do this. Thanks for the good wishes too.

I really like the idea of getting Warriors to donate some of their WSO's and putting together a killer package to give to whoever donates. So, anyone willing to donate their WSO's? I have three I'll be putting in. You can either leave me a message here or PM me with your WSO information if you are willing to help. Thanks!

Even if you do have an insurance or not, hospitals tend to give you proper care. Naturally, they will bill later so you'll need to make payment arrangements. These bills is sometimes high and is difficult to pay. A payday cash can help you pay for them if you do not have enough money right now. Do not wait to get to the hospital if it is an emergency for you or somebody close just due to money. Life is more important.
