I'm looking to sell a domain and would like to find a good appraisal program, or if any of you have ideas as to the going rate I would appreciate the feed back.

I have taken mine to Sedo and had their Domain Brokers give me an appraisal. You can also purchase an appraisal. Any sites that give you an "auto-appraisal" for free are fake and WAY too inflated.

There is no such thing as an accurate appraisal, unless the appraisal is "registration fee". The value of a domain name in the marketplace depends a lot more on your own ability to research and locate a buyer who really wants or needs your domain name. A domain name can be worth little or nothing to most people, while being worth hundreds, or thousands to a very few.

Domain appraisal services, regardless of what they charge, can only compare certain attributes of your domain name with others that have already sold. That appraisal is usually absolutely meaningless to your domain name, as each and every domain name is a unique item.

Unless your domain is in the top 5% or so of the best domains in existence, the value is exactly what you paid for it. The amount you're able to sell it for depends entirely on your marketing and research skills.
