How to check article originality?

Have purchased several articles from fiverr, and they are looking great.

Was just wondering, what are some ways that I can check its originality to see if its partly plagiarized if not all?

I mean I found several checkers online, but most of them don't seem to be too creditable as all their results are different.

Are there any recommended checkers out there?

Thanks

    HI Ed,
You can and always should check for plagiarism when your purchase articles. You can check about uniqueness of the articles by using Copyscape. It's the best plagiarism checking tool in my opinion.

Thanks for the tip on Copyscape. I write a decent amount of unique content and worry at times that it will be "borrowed" by other sites. This will probably prove quite useful!

Make sure you actually type a sentence or two into Copyscape or even Google it with quotes. The latest scam is to lift an article and then change it to some sort of code. The article looks the same to human readers but it scrambles something so it looks unique to Google.

You get around this scam in a very simple way:

Copy the article to Word. Then copy the Word article into a text file. This will strip out any hidden codes and just give you straight text. Then you take Tina's advice, which is what I always do, and double-check it.

Thanks for that tip. I've been typing it in. If I have to check only one, I'll probably keep doing it that way, but your suggestion is going to be useful when I have a batch to check.

Thanks guys, Copyscape was the first site that I tried. I knew it's one of the best known checker, however I didn't know how to insert texts to check - so I gave up.

I then uploaded my texts and check by inserting the URL.

If you register and buy credits, you can actually just cut & paste the text into a box. It's only US$0.05 per search to do it that way.

If you don't want to pay for Copyscape, just put random parts of the article on Google search and see if there's an article the one that was sent to you there.
