This may seem like a very stupid question, but I'm trying to get my squeeze page perfect. Has anyone noticed a difference if you put "best email" or just "email" in the form? I want to get people's main email of course, but I don't want to deter people away by asking for "best," so what is your experience with this?

All pages are going to have different results. I would suggest testing both of them, and don't stop at that -- test your page flow, design, copy all over the site, your sales funnel, etc. Marketers should never stop testing.

I'd frown if I saw 'best' email, but would understand if I saw 'main' email - equally, if I think it looks like a potential torrent of spam I'd but a secondry spamcatcher email.

    But that's just me!

Depends on the niche. In the IM niche, I mainly use "Email", but in other niches, I use "Best/Main Email". That's what my split testing results tell me.

@ttdub: is the link in your signature the one having issues?

I like primary email, but the Paypal email is a good one!

    Thanks for that.
