OK Newbie in the house

Hi Guys, Brilliant site by the way loveing it.

I'm quite computer savvy and understand a bit of marketing, however I am new to IM. I have a good idea on how to generate like on to a facebook page and maybe direct them toward a blog, however how what would be the 'best and easiest way' to generate this traffic into to cash. Also have any of you warriors got any suggestions on how to get more followers on twitter as I just dont seem to get it.

Many Many thanks in advance cos as far as I am concerned your all giving your time and energy and hopefully in a year or two I can be doing the same back on here.

    About twitter .You need to post catchy info in your twitter then you will have more followers.Also connect websites to your twitter.Like Facebook, YouTube.
    Connect twitter to Facebook and every time you post on twitter you also will be posting on Facebook automatically.

    Hi Dafella,

    If you are computer savvy then you are way ahead of me! lol. I think if i had the know how to get people to a facebook page or a webpage then I would look really hard at CPA marketing. You do not have to sell anything. All you have to do is get people to complete a usually short email/zip form or possibly a little more information. But they do not have to buy anything. They may do a free trial based on what CPA product you are promoting. As far as twitter goes I do not have a lot of experience with it other than everytime I ever post something to twitter I get new followers. So it does work!!

    My tip is to concentrate on one method first and once you are doing well with that move on to another.

    yeah this is a great site i probably have learned more here then anywhere......twitter you can follow certain people and they follow in return also facebook is good (as i hear) for building a long term relationship with customers not so much for the quick sale. I feel that from a lot of my free traffic which by the way is very minimal i dont get much converted. Although i have converted on PPC...

    OK thank you for all of your responses, very helpful information.. I have just found a website showing CPA marketing (Miriam) and I am sure that because I am going to attract a target audience I will be able to find an affialiate Clickbank product which would suit that audience.. Bellatrix your post goes over the top of my head, however I assure you I will be all over them acronyms :O) and wont leave anystone unturned in my quest to suceed. From what I have seen it is a goal mine, with the right attitude and can do approach of course. So I hope to be around for a while

      If you are new to Internet Marketing and are good with computers, I think you should check out the affiliate marketing through email marketing method.

      If you've read around the forum before you have probably seen "list building" being emphasize as a good sustainable way to make money online.

      This means you build an email mailing list and promoting related affiliate products to that list. When the affiliate products you are promoting sell, you make a commission.

      To build an email mailing list you must first build a one page website called a squeeze page. On this page, you offer some sort of free incentive (like a free eBook or report) to compel people to opt-in (join your list).

      Warrior forum has a lot of information on this type of Internet marketing and many members make money online this way. It's pretty easy to get this set up, and if you are good with computers it doesn't take that long at all.

    You need a basic to advanced internet marketing education. You will also need a system that pays on average $230 per customer obtained at $25. You need a funnel that converts at 10% on the front end offer. Check sig for all of the above...

      Hi warriors, thanks for all the replys. I understand what idiotbigtime was saying bout facebooks likes not hitting your webpage, however I do have a solution for that I am looking for good products and to tell you the truth I think that Clickbank products are really weak and not good enough for the audience who I am aiming at. The product s which I want only pay around 8 - 10 % commision direct, or I can source other products through commision junction.

      Question 1) Is commision junction straight forward i.e with tax issues
      2) Can you really survive on such low commissions as 8%

      I am looking into CPA newbie, however I want to develop a website which has strong brands and is quite sticky with lots of stories and articles. Quality content which people will return to. Its going to take time, which is not a problem.. just the rates are that low I will have to hit £1000 sales before I make £80

    dafella I suggest getting into a system that pays you 100% commissions instead of accepting wussy little commissions. I can make up to $1625 with Empower Network with leverage, residual income and perpectual income. Do you have access to a system like that?

      I am Agree there Decent Offers who pays 100% Commission I stop to promote those "Tiny Commission" products as well ( 10-50% = Tiny)

    Thanks Mindfulness (nice name by the way). JamesRitch1 I dont like the look of the Empower Network as it seems a teeny weeny bit like a pyramid scheme. Once the first people have made there money it just gets harder. I think i am going to start of on low commissions, get my revenue built up and start sourcing my products directly from the companies involved. I think it is all about taking your time, building your brand and relationships. If I end up with a thousand customers per month and I am making from between £2 -£40 per month of each sale then thats a nice little income. I had a good think about it last night with a few cups of tea and realised I was getting negative at the first hurdle. I am over that now. I've Identified my market, I've identified the product, the website that needs creating is already out there, I've seen it so its just a case of driving traffic, learining new SEO stratagies and not being to greedy. These things take time and every river starts with a drop of water.

    First of all welcome. You're in very good hands here

    Secondly - Social media can be a nice way to drive traffic. But I would highly recommend driving traffic to a squeeze page so you can start building your list. List building should be the center of any IM strategy. It's like having a money machine!

    From my experience, the best converting traffic still comes from SEO. Think about it, they are already searching for the topic!

    So, my best advice to you is to build an authority site and use SEO to rank your site. After that, you'll be able to enjoy a passive income as long as you maintain your site correctly.

      Ok timb98133 I am getting this everywhere I look about the squeeze page, so lets face it one of them is not optional it is a must. I will be looking into that today.

      nasuryono I totally agree with you, that is my next stop to look into SEO before I even consider launching. I like what you say about that they are already looking, it just make sense its obvious

      Do any of you know of any good no sorry brilliant 'Free' ebooks what a newbie to SEO could read. As I said I am quite computer savvie, I know where to plug the cat in doh I mean the mouse

      I agree, if you have no list of your own currently then you need to get targeted traffic to your website by using SEO. It takes a little time but if you choose your keywords wisely you can hit the ground running.

    I think your strategy of keeping motivated and sticking to one idea is your best way forward. So many people.........including myself........get side tracked by different ways to make money on the Internet. Do soemthing you love so your motivation remains high and stick to one thing at a time. You will probably find some good resources just by searching around the site, sorry don't know of an eBook myself.

    Visitors into cash could be done by signing them up to your autoresponder so you can contact them time and time again.

    Or from your website perhaps make sure that there is Adsense on there so every time they click an advert then your get some cash.

    And don't forget to have some direct links to some related products for your niche.

    I'm not an expert on Twitter, but i would imagine that by proviing useful and interesting posts will keep them engaged and more likely to re-tweet the post, therefore gaining you more eyes on your offer!
