to increase your traffic to levels high enough to make a profit? my sites are hardly getting any hits, and even less clicks.

    This is hard to say.It depends on on niche you're in.And also your website.How well is everything written.If you have your site in top 2 in your niche there is lot of + to make money.But must say if someone will come to your site and there will be no visual clicking links to easy watch.There you have problem.
