Web Retailer business - do these economics make sense to buy?
Hi all.
I went searching for a narrow niche site to buy, and stumbled upon a top 10-ranking site in Google that has the following traffic and revenue/expense profile:

The guy running it sells a OTC cream for a certain medical condition. He started the site 3 years ago after it cured his ailment, thinking he'd get rich re-selling the stuff he buys retail. He marks it up 5x on his site.
He's done ZERO marketing - has a whole 7 backlinks and still is ranking #8 in google for his main keyword. Other related keywords are similarly low-traffic, but would be pretty easy to use SEO to break into Google top 10.
I also see lots of room to improve - his site is ugly as sin, copy is bad, no sales flow. A CPC campaign could generate sales, too.
What do you all think? Good buy opportunity?
