Best Results from a Contest
Hey we're going to be running a competition and have a few different ideas. Does anyone have specifics (data or experience) on a couple successful contests they ran? By successful, I am meaning you saw at least one of the following:
1) traffic spike
2) social media likes
3) virality
4) syndication
We want to do something like, '10,000th skill listed gets an iPad'. But does that stuff really work?? I've heard mixed reviews, but to me it sounds so spammy.
