Whos quality is the best for Outsourcing?

I have been outsourcing different things for sometime now.

I mainly use oDesk because the rates are low but I'm not so sure about the quality. I mean it is satisfactory but not the wow factor I'm looking for. I have used a few gig sites like Fiverr but those seem to be for other type of things.

I was wondering where some of the best quality comes from for things like article writing, copywriters, video makers/producers, those two things particularly.

Where was your best experience found?

Quality is really going to depending on your screening process.

You can find some AWESOME workers for cheap if you are diligent in your screening process.

Or if you willing to pay higher dollar you can find awesome workers.

You can try odesk and other sites, but they frankly suck. It's hard to find anyone who really does quality work. You're best off trying to stick in warrior forum for now until you can find a real outsourcer who becomes an employee with a vision for what you do.

The problem with a freelancer vs employee is the freelancer is always looking at how to get rid of you and move up to more stability...

Your employee, if you screen them right, will be loyal to you and you can have a lasting relationship where you can walk away from certain aspects of your business where they not only do what you ask, but grow with their own vision to enhance your business, not merely replicate tasks.

I've found a woman on fiverr who I use for all sorts of ecovers and the quality is nuts. I spend more on stock photos than hiring her for the job that uses the stock photo.

Otherwise for consistent quality that you can train, hire a full time person in your business. It really can be an excellent experience.

Unless you have ample time to scan and filter freelancing sites, stick to forums like these. For people like me who don't tolerate cheap bargaining with buyers, sites like WF are a blessing. It is simple for the seller as well as the buyer.

I suppose it depends on which thing you want outsourced. Fiverr is good for a lot of things and it is easily affordable, but I would not use it for everything. I also read comments about people who have used what people are providing. I have not been let down with Fiverr, but again I would not use them for everything.

    Best of luck!

I will take that into consideration. With a very limited budget I guess I have to take what I can get for now and work towards a permanent solution.

I called on an old friend who is a film producer to see if he can do a few videos for me, not sure yet though and I'm in the process of screening oDesk and Elance producers. So we will see.

I have heard great things about the forum for hire section and the copywriters and article writes on here. I have heard they are top quality. I will do some more digging for video. Thanks for the feedback.

My experience on Freelancers with writing was not positive - due to the constraints there, I didn't find any native speakers willing to do work - they just take too much money.

I've been for hire on oDesk, and it's worked well - screen who you want well, and make sure they have a portfolio and reply to you personally. Don't accept replies that are not customised to your needs.

I may also be for hire shortly too, but it depends what kind of budget we're talking about What is it you were looking to use your articles for, and how much are you therefore willing to spend on them? That way we can also direct you to the best place.

    Issac,

I would recommend you to contact companies direct through their contact form, try several companies and mention them that you looking for bulk work and so you need a sample to check. Check the samples given by all the companies and choose the one you will wow factor in.

oDesk isn't bad. I tried about maybe 15 people for articles. Just like anything a few were on top of things and prompt with their work and others would take to long or not complete at all. So you do have to try a few to get the good ones. Some did lazy work copy paste when I checked it I had them rewrite it with original content.

The rates are great that is one big plus.

odesk is great, but you really have to screen your employees.

I had one guy that did nothing for 8 hours and I didn't realize it until I checked his work diary, ripping me off!

oDesk is pretty easy to use and a whole lot of applicants. Its been some months since I last used it. It going ok low rates and competition so you can get even better rates.

I have a few projects active so I will try it out again. Also for YouTube videos I found a lot of people on odesk and other sites like elance and they didn't really understand the vision and wanted me to provide to much of the video and audio so much in fact I could just do it myself if I had all the files. What I did though was message some of the makers of the videos I wanted replicated uniquely and they said they would just make them for me for basically the same rate as the contractors. Plus they already know how to do it and what I want. So I hope that goes well. We shall see in the next week or so. Gonna try and get some YouTube traffic heard it works I'm gonna test it out and see for myself.

I use oDesk but make sure to find someone based in the USA. I also make sure English is their first language. Outside of that... it depends on what i'll have them do. I like that oDesk takes snaps of their desktop as they work so I know they are doing their job.

I have heard elance is very good but I can not vouch for quality. I have not used them , nor endorse them. I have just heard through the grapevine that you can find good outsourcers there.

Why? Why exclude perfectly good writers/graphic designers/etc.? I've found that American hirers are the worst on oDesk, yes, the worst. I only had positive clients from the UK, Canada, Australia... never the US.

Excluding others simply because they choose to/cannot live in you country is not the right way to go about it - there are too many paid writing sites out there that only allows writers from the US. What do those of us who do not want to be US citizens do?

For quality work I would go with Elance as they are the best for outsourcing. But you can also go for other Freelancer or Odesk for Content and Manual Link Building type of jobs.
