PM Notification glitch

I deleted some new PM messages without
opening them and now I have a permanent
notification message for those unopened
messages.

Anyone know how to get rid of this?

    I've been having similar glitches with the PM function for a while. The other day, I had a different number of notifications every time I opened the site.

    I completely logged out of my account, waited a couple minutes, then logged back in and that got rid of the notifications.

      bugs me so much. It's become a major distraction.

        Have you tried clearing the cache in your browser?

            I deleted some PM's yesterday but the notification message showed them as still being there. I agree, it is kind of annoying and distracting.

            After logging in and out a few times it disappeared. I think its just some temporary glitch.
