H fellow warriors ,

I have a lot of exact match domains, which were intended to be amazon sites
but amazon refused them as they had brand names like iphone, & ipad , ect in the domain names, so I just left these review sites for the last year and now i want to finally monetize them,

so should i put adsense on them or a cpa offer ??

and how should i revive them,

is starting a link building campaign ie with uaw and social bookmarks a good idea, or is it waving a red flag

should i set up web 2.0 sites and link them to my money sites and blast all links to the web 2.0 sites ?

I know a lot of questions, but some good advice is badly needed ??

thanks

stas

Its better for you to build a authority site. I recommend you start over and get a good system that gives you basic to advanced marketing education and allows you to make high ticket sales. The successful internet marketers use a funnel. It is not cheap to advertise so having a funnel allows you to know what each customer is worth and have a systematic process that allows you to make way more per customer then a single e-book or video course.

For me, make money using Adsense is easier than CPA.

And if you choose monetization using Adsense, you should boost your site's SEO.
First, you make great contents for the site.
    Second, build backlinks.

    Quick tips to build backlinks:
    1. Do Press Release
    2. Submit your links to .EDU blogs

You write about the exact domain name, Is it the trademark name? If yes, I would advice to stay away.

Anyway, if you have the exact domain name, CPA will be more targeted and better for related content.

Yeah...you might have troubles with adsense if it's about a trademark.

Did Amazon refuse them because they had brand names in the domain-name, or trademarks?

Definitely not, if they contain other people's trademarks.

Among the things that can and regularly do happen, when the trademark owner discovers your domain/site, are:-
    • They can tell you take it down
    • They can take the domain from you
    • They can take from you any money you've ever made through the site
    • They can sue you for additional damages for flagrantly breaching their legal rights
Don't imagine that because "you're helping them to make sales" (as is often the case) they'll decide to be lenient. That isn't how it works. The point is that owning a trademark effectively confers obligations as well as rights on the holder: when it comes to trademark renewal time, if it can be shown that they've knowingly failed to protect their rights with regard to the trademark, that can be held against them. Some companies, for this reason, have the policy of pursuing all breaches of the trademark routinely and without reference to the motives/purposes/circumstances of the defendant.

There are some permitted uses of other people's trademarks in domain-names, it's true. They tend to be tested in court, partly according to precedent law, by people with very deep pockets. They also tend to exclude "making money from the site".

My own not-legally-qualified, five-word opinion is "Don't even think about it".
